Deron Williams Announces Via Twitter He Will Re-Sign With Brooklyn Nets

After narrowing his choices to the Dallas Mavericks and Brooklyn Nets, All-Star point guard Deron Williams met with both teams on Monday and vowed to have a decision soon thereafter. Tuesday evening he revealed his choice via Twitter in one simple tweet, which you can see below. Sam Amick of SI.com reports the deal for DWill to stay in BK is for 5 years, and worth roughly $100 million.

The nets are ok they wil be the 5 th seed at best don’t forget they don’t play any defense

Everyone they have on the roster is capable of playing defense. In fact Lopez is the only bad defender. Deron, Joe and Wallace are all high level defenders and Reggie defends too.

Nets have the potential to become a big threat with D. Williams, Joe Johnson, Reggie Evans, and maybe Dwight Howard. If we don’t get D12, then we’d still have Lopez, Humphries, and Brooks. Looking good, Brooklyn.
