Utah Jazz Signed Randy Foye

Randy Foye is moving from Los Angeles to Utah, as the Jazz inked the free agent guard to a one-year deal. Per the Salt Lake Tribune: “The 6-foot-4, 213-pound Foye was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. The former Villanova standout has averaged 11.6 points on 41.1 percent shooting from the floor during his six-year career. Foye is expected to compete with second-year small forward Gordon Hayward, second-year guard Alec Burks and rookie Kevin Murphy for playing time. Veteran Raja Bell was the Jazz’s primary starter at shooting guard last season. Bell recently agreed to a buyout with Utah, though. Foye made $4.2 million with the Clippers last season. He’ll likely be added via Utah’s mid-level exception, which is worth $5 million.”

(sarcasm) This is a good signing if you need a low basketball iq shoint guard. Hey, at least he gets to reunite with his buddy, Al Jefferson.

BAD move. 5 mili for a role player. Jazz need to develop Alec Burks, not reduce his PT

This move made little sense for the Jazz. Ohh well.

Foye and Jefferson may put up some numbers but will have actual little impact for a team and/or game. Good luck, Utah. How does last place in the NW-Division sound?

I think this will help the Jazz alot. Now they have become a dangerous team in the west. They have all the tools they need to compete!!!
