This guy has proven he can be a beast, he (like JaVale) needs a system where he can develop his game with help from veterans. He might be an all star in 3 or 4 years, but for now he can be a solid contributor for Miami or the Spurs.

Either team would be good fit. This guy is talented, but an idiot. Needs veterans around him.

Just what exactly has this moron shown to prove he can be a beast?

I really don’t think Miami has the type of veteran leadership he needs. The Spurs would be a better fit in terms of the discipline I think Blatche needs.

Yeah….All-Star lmao ok buzz if you say so. But as a Spurs fan I would like to see Blatche be added to the team. A big man with talent is always welcome, if anybody could get him to play hard it would be Popovich

@TR He needs veterans around him? Erm, the Spurs and Heat are not exactly the Thunder and Wolves in terms of their players ages…

  • Brown14

@ TR My apologies, I thought your post said “neither”, not either! I agree with you my friend, I think both would be good fits

If he hasn’t figured it out by now, he won’t. This isn’t Chauncey Billups, aka a late bloomer. Chauncey has the brains to learn the game and adjust. Andray doesn’t seem to have it all upstairs. But that’s not even the worst part. The worst part is that he doesn’t seem to care.

Miami already has the Curry project and Spurs have their hands full keeping Diaw motivated.

dfrance – really? haslem, allen, battier, wade, james, juwan howard (and riles) is not enough veteran leadership for you?

Been saying all along Miami is THE place for Andre. The nightlife, grown folks entertainment industry, dimished role, Eddy Curry. Everything spells success.

Dejuan Blair has shown he can’t be the heir to Tim Duncan and the future of San Antonio. Maybe with a mentor like Timmy, Andray can be that guy

I dunno about this one. Spurs could always use more size but when a guy has more bonehead plays than highlights on youtube, it’s a problem. It would be interesting to see what Pop, Stephen Jackson & Timmy could do with the kid though.

no problem @Brown14…Blatche has shown flashes of being a pretty good player at times, like he seriously has, but again this guy is an IDIOT.

basically, any big man is an upgrade over joel anthony.

I wouldnt mind seeing Andray Blatche be Dejuan Blair’s replacement

LAHuey, is the “Curry project” that new Indian cuisine television show on FOODTV?

  • http://www.twitter.com/_dfrance dfrance

@T-Money I just think he’d be more likely to listen to a Duncan/Pop combo than a Lebron/Spo combo.

  • LA Huey

That and what my downstairs neighbors do every day.

Ahh yes, delightful smells of spicy hot curry style vindaloo. Nothing like the smell of ethnic food that’s not being served to you.

Blatche would be a good fit for the Spurs and the Spurs would be great for him. He needs to be surrounded by mature vets who can show him how to handle himself like a profession. Timmy and Pop would whip him into shape and he would fill a HUGE void in San Antonio’s line up. Hope this works out.

Blatche is what we need. We wont have any other big man options comming soon. We aren’t getting younger. But the options are. This is better then any overseas options.
