Anthony Parker to Join Orlando Magic as Scout

Guard Anthony Parker, who retired this offseason with the Cleveland Cavaliers, will join the Orlando Magic front office as a scout. Parker averaged 9.1 points over the course of a nine-year NBA career, playing in 16 games for the Magic during the 1999-2000 season. Via HowardTheDunk.com: “Parker, who was originally drafted in 1997 out of Bradley, played three seasons in the NBA before heading to Europe to play. Parker returned to the NBA in 2006 with the Toronto Raptors. He spent three seasons there before playing his final three seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers.”

Should he perform like he did in his NBA career, we can expect very mediocre results…

Overall, he was average. It’s cool to see Candace comes to this site though. Interesting alias, I might add. Haha

    Gotta keep Sheed’s legacy intact!
