Dwight Howard Bought A $20M Mansion In Los Angeles


Dwight Howard just dropped $20 million for a home in Newport Beach, where Kobe Bryant also lives. Doesn’t look like Superman is going anywhere, any time soon…

    $20 million check for a mansion for one season makes no sense. It means a lot. He could have kept living in the place he’s been living in if he was only going to stay for one season.

    Allllllright, it’s time we put all the arguing to rest. Dwight Howard did what any unhappy employee of any sh#tty employer would do. He quit, in essence. He said he wanted out. The management failed and failed again to find him the help that he needed to get a championship, and surrounded him with horrible contracts( don’t dare try to argue that ) He stayed in Orlando for as long as he could without losing the passion that he has for the game. The way he went about things may not have been the most eloquent, but he’s 26 years old. Most people are still working an entry level position at 26.He accomplished more in Orlando than anyone since or before Shaq, and he did it without anyone of Penny’s caliber. Stan Van Gundy shouldn’t have kept his job either. He’s a glorified Mike D’antoni. Now can we please just sit back and watch the Lakers 3 peat before Kobe rides off into glory?

    Its a waste of money, to spend that much on somewhere to live. I hope he has his money saved up and has invested his money. I don’t want to hear about him in some years after he retires. If I was that rich, 10million or less house is good for me. He is not married with no family, except a son, who he probably pays her about 100,000 a month for.

    They can now car pool together up the 405 and Kobe can show Dwight all the shortcuts and all the best places to eat in Newport. Heck, Kobe might even get a Double Date worked up for Dwight.

    DW already lives in LA & is on a verge of a huge new contract with some team, so I wouldn’t read too much into it. That said, if the Buss family sells him on the idea that the Lakers would be HIS team once Kobe & Nash retire, i..t would be hard to walk away…

    My guess is that he will race kobe to the arena everyday..Is his house bigger or more expensive than kobes?
