Anthony Tolliver to Sign With the Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks will employ Anthony Tolliver next season, who doesn’t sound all that thrilled about the way his time in Minnesota came to an end. Per Fox Sports: “No,’ Tolliver, a power forward, said when asked whether it was tough at all to leave the Timberwolves after two seasons. ‘It’s a business. They told me they were looking to bring me back… But they never really offered me anything. They had said signing me was a priority, but at the end of the day they didn’t move forward. Everything happens for a reason. It’s all part of the business.’ When the Timberwolves agreed to terms with Lou Amundson, another power forward on Monday, Tolliver knew it was time to leave. Tolliver made $2.05 million last season with the Timberwolves but will get a one-year minimum guaranteed deal from Atlanta worth $915,852. He said that’s become a ‘new normal’ in the NBA that teams are being more conservative with money.”

You went from shooting 41% from deep to 24%.
Might have something to do with the contract not being warmly extended….

Rubio made this scrub look usable. last season

  • LakeShow

Last season was his first playing with Rubio and he had his worse season in his last 5….

exactly, he wasn’t looking good at all. rubio served him some a lot of dishes @ the 3.

    What are you not comprehending…
He has had his best seasons playing away from Rubio.
He averaged 12-7 playing for Golden State a couple years ago.
He has had his worse year with Rubio.

mothafucka, you acting like rubio made him bad. dude didn’t show up anytime of the year, he was consistent at playing poorly. all I’m saying is Rubio gave him his tiny tiny shine. gtfoh

  • LakeShow

    No he didn’t.
Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, and most importantly Don Nelson are the only people that helped him get “his tiny tiny shine.” Nice try though.
    mothafucka out
