New York Knicks Reportedly Considering Signing Rasheed Wallace


The Knicks already have veterans Kurt Thomas and Marcus Camby on their roster, but…why stop there? According to ESPN reporter Ric Bucher, New York is considering signing Rasheed Wallace, who is working out with the aforementioned two big men at the NYK practice facility these days:

    I get what you are saying about KMart, but in terms of age, Sheed is only four years older than him. Why are people making such a hoopla about Kidd, Wallace, Thomas, Camby and Prigioni’s age? Kidd’s game has always been about continuity in terms of sharing the ball and making the team better, same as Prigioni, Thomas was never athletic just a tough, post banging, 10 foot range shooter and Camby as evident per last year can still run the floor, bring grit and defense. If they all went to the Lakers, Celtics, Heat, Bulls, 76ers, Pacers, Spurs these teams would be considered contenders.
