Tyshawn Taylor Giving Away Back-To-School Items Thursday in New Jersey


This Thursday, Brooklyn Nets guard Tyshawn Taylor will be surprising local students with various back-to-school items in his hometown of Hoboken, New Jersey. In addition to those items, Taylor will also be giving away the new video game, NBA Baller Beats. Courtesy of the NBA: “A Hoboken native himself, Taylor attended St. Anthony High School and played under renowned coach Bobby Hurley. ‘I want to spread some cheer and inspiration to the neighborhood where I grew up,’ said Taylor. ‘Being a part of the Brooklyn Nets organization allows me to continue to be connected to this community, and I am truly grateful for that.’ Taylor will also let fans know about the giveaway via his twitter handle, @tyshawntaylor.”

When: Thursday, September 13th, 2012, 3:00pm.

Where: Basketball Court at 560 Marshall Drive (event will move indoors in the event of rain)

    This dude was balling in the Orlando Summer League and with him possibly getting minutes behind DWill I think he will eventually become a steady starting point guard in this league.
