NBA Players React to ESPN’s ‘Broke’

A tweetcap.

Tuesday night, ESPN aired Broke, a 30 for 30 documentary that outlined the financial issues many athletes have after earning millions and millions of dollars playing professional sports. Fortunately, many NBAers saw the film—and hopefully learned a thing or two about saving their scrilla—and a bunch of them took to Twitter during and after the movie with a variety of thoughts regarding what they were watching.     Damn, Delonte West dosen’t seem like he learned a thing from watching the documentary, talking about how he’ll keep doing the same thing he’s been doing, even AFTER he ended up homeless. We’ll probably see him in the next edition of Broke 20 years from now (hopefully not tho). Herm Edwards had the best quote by far. “A Goal Without a Plan is a Wish.” Words to live by, for sure.
