Barack Obama Played Basketball With Scottie Pippen on Election Day

The NBA, as you know, has made its presence felt this election year. And today, the big day, U.S. President Barack Obama shot some hoops with Scottie Pippen and others while awaiting election results. Per the Chicago Tribune: “President Barack Obama kept his tradition of an Election Day basketball game alive Tuesday, with an assist from Scottie Pippen. At around 1 p.m., Obama’s motorcade arrived at the Hope Athletic Center on Chicago’s West Side, where the president played basketball with staff and friends. Former Illinois Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias tweeted that he was playing on a team with Obama and former Bulls Pippen and Randy Brown. A White House spokeswoman confirmed that Obama also played with Education Secretary Arne Duncan, Reggie Love, Mike Ramos and Marty Nesbitt.”

    Why would praying help?

    Hahaha… praying

  • Dagger

Because if you don’t pray during every waking moment, you’re just arrogant. Wait, how did you find time to post on Slam?

a sigh of relief went around the world when obama got elected. i just dont get why there are still enough stupid folks in the us to elect enough republicans leaving them with a majority in the house of representatives. they will still block changes that would really make a difference for the better. smh

  • Max

    Lot’s of Americans are dumb..

  • Caboose

You actually believe there’s gonna be a rapture? Lol, how old do you think the Earth is? Was Noah’s Ark real?

    1. Why would praying change the minds of voters? Are you saying that we have no free will? Or that “God” even cares about the outcome of an election?
    2. When most polls have him winning, why wouldn’t Obama be confident?
    3. Not praying=arrogant? I haven’t prayed in the past 8 years. I’d rather believe in logic and myself than in imaginary friends.
