JJ Barea and Donald Sloan First NBA Players Warned for Flopping

David Lee might certainly disagree, but according to the NBA, JJ Barea and Donald Sloan are the first violators of the League’s anti-flopping mandate this season: “Minnesota’s Barea Receives Flopping Warning With 10.04 remaining in the fourth period of the Minnesota vs. Sacramento game (Nov. 2) JJ Barea of the Timberwolves committed a physical act that was a flop under the League’s rule on Flopping. He has received a warning in regards to this violation of the League’s rule on Flopping. [...] With 5.58 remaining in the fourth period of Cleveland’s game vs. Chicago (Nov. 2), Donald Sloan of the Cavaliers committed a physical act that was a flop under the League’s rule on Flopping. He has received a warning in regards to this violation.”

it would be dope if the players could vote on who gets fines for flopping, griffin probably would have to get a new job on the side

Sloan’s was worse, as he sends himself flailing and spinning to the ground, only to be ignored by every player and referee. Barea got a forearm from Fredette, which he exaggerated, but it wasn’t too bad.
