Jrue Holiday Agreed to 4-Year $41 Million Deal With Sixers

Jrue Holiday and the Philadelphia Sixers reached an agreement on an extension — Holiday will earn $41 mil over the next four seasons. Reports the Philly Inquirer: “Holiday told me that Sixers had come back with an offer that he and his agent, Tony Dutt, felt comfortable signing – after the game. ‘Uh, yeah they came back with something,’ Holiday said. ‘I think Ty and Steph’ (Stephen Curry in Golden State) getting their deals done kind of helped me out and I feel they want to get my deal done too. My agent is doing a good job of keeping me informed because I’ve got some other things to focus on.’ Holiday didn’t want to tell me what the numbers were on his deal prior to the deal – I guessed four years at $11 million per and he looked at me sort of cockeyed – but a little after midnight they had an agreement: four years for $41 million.”
