Kawhi Leonard to Miss 10-to-14 Days Because of Knee Pain

San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard will be on the Chillin’ List for the next 10-14 days, as he suffers from quadriceps tendinitis in his right knee. Per the Express-News: “Leonard, who had his knees heavily iced after Thursday night’s 104-100 loss to New York, had the injury confirmed Friday by an MRI. A second year player, Leonard is averaging 10.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and two steals per game, and is widely regarded as the Spurs’ best perimeter defender. His defense in the waning seconds against the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant helped the Spurs pull out a narrow victory in Los Angeles earlier this week. Leonard will miss home games Saturday against Denver and Monday against the L.A. Clippers, and will not travel on the Spurs’ six-game road trip that begins Wednesday day in Boston. Based on that timetable, the next game for which Leonard might be available is Dec. 1 against Memphis.”
