Mickael Pietrus Still Looking for an NBA Contract

According to Mickael Pietrus’ agent, the veteran forward is in talks with several NBA teams, but he has yet to land a deal. Per RealGM: “While [Bill] McCandless admits he has been in contact with general managers across the NBA, he insisted by phone: ‘A report goes out and everybody thinks Mickael is on a plane headed for Indiana. Everybody needs to hold their horses.’ Over the past week, Pietrus’ camp has seen a spike in interest for the veteran swingman, who has career averages of 8.4 points and 3.1 rebounds and is well regarded as among the stellar perimeter defenders in the league. The health of Pietrus’ knee has been perceived as an issue, but McCandless stressed he is 100 percent healthy following an offseason of intensive rehabilitation. Pietrus’ representatives are confident a deal will be found soon.”

peitrus would fit well with the heat.. take some time to get healthy and play for a ring.. might not get top dollar,,… but will play for a contender.. good situation…

wtf? heat have no room man…and they have enough pietrus type players..i mean, the one heat game i saw,,,james jones and mike miller now come off the bench BEHIND Allen and Lewis…why would the Heat need another player in that vein? Jesus..seems like everybody thinks these veterans shud just “sign with the heat”

Wouldn’t Lakers fans love to see Peaches shooting open 3′s instead of Metta?

Would be a great fit for the Lakers, they need more athleticism and consistent shooting than World Peace is giving them

Indeed if healthy MP would fit right in with the Lakers

With Brandon Rush out for the season, the Warriors should sign him for a second stint!!

If he signed a non-guaranteed contract, give ‘er. They’d likely have to cut him if Shumpert returns this season.

Danny Ainge made a mistake to move on from Mickael Pietrus. But he still has a chance to do the right thing and sign Pietrus. The Celtics defense has been awful so far, as well as the overall team spirit, and MP could give them a huge lift. It’s quite clear that Courtney Lee and Jeff Green are not contributing defensively like Pietrus did.
