Polladaday: Fire Mike Brown?

The Lakers have gotten off to a bit of a rough start. Is it their head coach’s fault?

Should the Lakers fire Mike Brown?

2 games into the season and we’re already calling for his head? Wow! What ever happened to patience? We don’t have that anymore?

the offense was terrible last year also. and mike brown still doesn’t know how to fix it

  • Silas DaDizzul Hassan

Patience is the word. Me thinks we’ll come good by Christmas . Until then, lets give brown the chance that he deserves to make his new formula work.

    Silas. Lagos Nigeria

Looks like 73% of people are fair weather basketball fans.

lakers fans are whiny bitches… give it a month or two before you start firing people! I hate the lakers, but I have no doubt that they will turn it around and make a run in the west…. but lose to okc.

  • Mike Brown

My philosophy has been nothing but “give the ball to lebron” then it was “give the ball to kobe” now with all these options im confused.

league has changed, remember after miami’s big 3 back in 2011 how everyone became an expert sports analyst after the heat’s 10 games? same thing

i’m not a lakers fan, but i love the game of basketball and i’m watching the lakers closely, i think mike brown will be fired

The way I see it they are losing because the players dont want to play for him. Dwight even said prepare for some sloppy ball. Sounds like dude doesnt really know how to control his team.
With Nash running the point hire D’antoni. I’m sure calls have already been made if not to him I dunno. Phil, Larry Brown?
Mike Brown is a good coach, just not for the Show.

    lol. we understand ur frustration.

  • Yi-Cheng Chen

no one says who’s getting fired… the poll is just for a thought…. relax.

  • Yi-Cheng Chen

i’d say if they lose 10+ in a row. or getting little wins by dec.

we’re talking about the lakers, the city is used to winning, the fans are used to trophies, it won’t take 10 in a row, 5 more games like this i promise you the dude will be on his way out. He’s not phil jackson

Brown should’ve been canned last season, or at the end of it. Patience has run it’s course.

i cant belive any lakers fan would not want him fired he has no idea what hes doing
i have been a laker fan for 35 years and he is by far the worst coach we have ever had
its not just the bad start but i saw this coming the day we hired him he was lost
    in clevend
and now in LA the stage is too big for him he might be a good fit for the sparks.

  • markie D

we had patience last year times up

  • markie D

we have the right to be whiny bitches thats what happens when you have 16 rings
you must be a clipers fan.

Trying to eek out a win vs clips by playing an injured Kobe over 40 minutes? Ya. Fire this clown
Beyond that very obvious and.stupid coachng error are the series of third quarter losses which = poor adjustments and coaching out of the break.

  • William

    Lakers fans are awful!

  • Yesse

What the heck was he doing the last game?

Lakers are leading like by 30 points and then puts Dwight and Kobe back in?
