Second that. Would ideally like to see Shaw coach, with Phil being a mentor a la Pat Riley in Miami.

Sounds good to me. I highly doubt they would bring Shaw in over D’Antoni but Phil should definately become our GM/mentor.

I would really like to see Jerry Sloan coach them. But guys like Dwight Howard would have to eat some major “humble pie”, before they become Jerry Sloan type players… No doubt that Karl Malone had a huge ego, but he always put the team first. Just compare how the two set picks… For Howard, a pick is only alley-oop foreplay. It never looks like he really cares if his teammate gets freed up. With his size, he should lay out a defender flat on his a…, at least once a game. If you set a pick on your tip toes and worry about the offensive foul, you never free up your guy.
