Victor Cruz Appreciated JR Smith’s Salsa Dance Following Game-Winner

The immortal JR Smith hit a game-winner in Charlotte last night, breaking the Bobcats’ hearts at the buzzer. He then busted out a salsa dance in tribute to his friend, New York Giants wider receiver Victor Cruz. Smith’s moves made Cruz very happy. (On a related, and much funnier note: Michael Jordan didn’t seem to enjoy Smith’s dance at all.) Per the NY Daily News: “Victor Cruz was watching the Knicks game on Wednesday night and ‘almost jumped off the couch’ when he saw his old friend, J.R. Smith, hit a game-winning jump shot at the buzzer. Then it got even better. As Smith came off the court, he celebrated with Cruz’s signature dance. Smith’s version of the Cruz salsa was a pleasant surprise for the former Giants receiver, who grew up with Smith and played AAU basketball with him when they were teenagers in Northern New Jersey. ‘It was good to see,’ Cruz said on Thursday. ‘It’s not every day you hit a game-winner and get to salsa on them a little bit.’ Cruz said it was only a matter of seconds before his phone ‘blew up’ with messages from friends who saw Smith’s dance. Cruz immediately texted his old friend, writing ‘You didn’t have to salsa on them like that. LOL!’”

$ looks like he wants to lace em up and bust Smith’s arse. I love the ice grill. However, I like the game-winner more. MJ had his run of destroying the Knicks. What comes around is all around.

Smith is having the best year of his career

The funniest part of watching that game was seeing MJ’s slowly change each time they showed him on camera during the last 2 minutes. From hope to despair and anger.

he’s actually calmed down a LOT this year.

… Does that have ANYTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH HIM BEING ANNOYING? Man, SLAM users make the basketball community look terrible.

I was implying that Smith’s annoying qualities are bearable this year because he is having a career year. Honestly, I thought it was pretty obvious, but I guess for a simple guy like you maybe not. Don’t worry, next time I’ll make sure I write my comments a little more clear. I’ll even keep the syllables around one or two per word. You’re right though, SLAM users do make the basketball community look terrible.

So, you’re trying to tell me I’m supposed to interpret your comment, “Smith is having the best year of his career” as meaning his annoying qualities are now bearable because he’s having a career year? Haha, okay buddy. I know SLAM users make the basketball community look terrible, hence why I said it in the first place…

lol this is hilarious….What is so hard to understand??? Smith is having the best year of his career so who cares if he’s annoying. You said Smith is annoying. I responded with a reason why it shouldn’t matter. My sentence could not have been interpreted in any other way. Smith is having the best year of his career because he is annoying? NOPE. Smith is having the best year of his career because he eats Wheaties every morning? NOPE HE EATS OATMEAL. Smith is having the best year of his career so who cares if he is annoying? YUP! Once again, sorry, you do have to use your Noggin a little bit. And for God’s sake just admit you were just a little butthurt because you hate Smith for whatever reason.

I don’t hate him, he’s just annoying. And you’re very uneducated man. Regardless if you think your comment you have been interpreted as a reason why his attitude should be ignored because he’s having his beast season, he’s still annoying. LeBron and Kobe are pretty annoying as well. Someone can be playing good and still get on peoples nerves. I never once questioned his season. I said he’s annoying. Which doesn’t change from season to season depending on how he’s performing. Man. What are you even arguing? Is your argument that no one should care about anything someone does if they’re performing well at their job? Grow up, buddy.

To Easy to turn the “you’re very uneducated man.” I’ll try to make this nice and simple. My argument is simple. That f

Oh God. Too easy to turn the “you’re very uneducated man.” But wow, I mean you sound uneducated in nearly every sentence you write! My point was simple. Smith is having the best year of his career; his being annoying is bearable. But obviously you haven’t been paying attention to that. If I say it one more time will you finally understand? I guess I shouldn’t waste my time anymore. But yes, people do change from season to season. Just like J.R. Smith has. He has calmed down a sh*t ton this year, and I guess that has translated to a great season.

Maybe to you success translates into being able to act like a clown, but not to me. And not once did you even write that. You simply wrote Smith is having the best year of his career. You’re such an idiot, man. You don’t even have a point. All I’m saying is that too me his play doesn’t have anything to do with how annoying he is.
