I can’t really be mad about any of these picks. Was a little surprised with Deng, thought Lopez woulda got the nod. But, all in all, well done coaches.

  • bwat10

    no steph curry?

  • Lz – Cphfinest3

Biggest snub; Steph Curry, then Brook Lopez

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

    two Bulls makin it baby

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

Steph Curry not being there is absolutely ridiculous. No way to explain him not being on that list. Paul George is about to make Danny Granger expendable. A little surprised with Deng making it over Boozer. Congrats to Jrue Holiday even though his team isn’t winning. Congrats to Kyrie Irving. This will start a good run of ASG appearances for him. The coaches seem to be upset about Avery Johnson getting fired.

  • Lz – Cphfinest3

Glad Luol made it, maybe this years coach will actually play him more than 2 minutes so he can get a basket at least..

  • dafaq

    wheres Lillard

  • The Fury

    Milk Carton: Steph Curry….damn!!!

  • Name

Looks like J-Smoove will never be an all-star

  • https://twitter.com/Wayne__o BuenoWayno1

….and jus like that j lin fades into obscurity

  • Redd

    Absolutely outrageous Curry didn’t.

Feel Boozer should’ve made it over George & I hate the 6ers so, that speaks for itself. But Irving should make reserve consistently unless Rose’s return doesn’t pan out.

  • Redd

Yeah that sucked, Bulls get pushed to the side, I felt Boozer should’ve been there too.

  • http://www.facebook.com/hubert.abuel Hubert Abuel

would have been better if marc gasol got in. not complaining with the z-bo selection, though

  • Shifty

Anyone else think these reserve benches look a little bland? Just something about them. Can’t put my finger on it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/rainman1991 Saleem Rainman

Curry not making it is a joke.

  • http://www.facebook.com/rainman1991 Saleem Rainman

If you woulda told me two years ago Paul George makes an All-Star game BEFORE Josh Smith does, i woulda slapped u twice.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Brook Lopez and Al Horford not making it and Luol Deng making it is f*cking crazy lol. The coaches don’t watch sh*t.

  • http://www.facebook.com/rainman1991 Saleem Rainman

no to say i wudnt have believed the part where George makes an all star game, he’s always had mad potential, its the BEFORE Josh Smith part that wuda gotten u slapped.

  • ILMago

    No nets and no Curry?!

  • Redd

Yeah..Bulls fans including me were all hoping for boozer & Noah..didn’t expect Deng. Not saying he didn’t deserve it, but didn’t expect him to break win.

    But I’m happy shoot :D

  • http://www.facebook.com/rainman1991 Saleem Rainman

Come on. Josh Smith shoulda made it over Deng this year.

  • ATL dynamite

Either Al Horford or J-Smoove should have made the team. The Bulls just had a slight edge on records over the Hawks, and the Bulls have 2 on the All-star team. As much as I like Deng’s game, he shouldn’t be on the All-star team – not because he hasn’t been good this year, but someone else is playing better than him.
By the way, Steph Curry got snubbed big time. Wish him and J-Smoove would get to the team if anyone on the current All-star team roster got injured.

  • http://www.facebook.com/qcollingwood Interdico Scriptor

No Josh Smith… he’ll be happy about that!

  • http://www.facebook.com/qcollingwood Interdico Scriptor

    AHahahaa Lopez??? yr joking right?

  • Redd

    Horford, yes.

Bulls also have guys showing up after losing 6 good players. I realize you’re a ATL fan, so with all due respect..ATL isn’t really being considered as a threat. I hope they do well & maybe it’s unwarranted but they’re overlooked.

  • http://twitter.com/impsawsm Impossibly Awesome

Who are you going to kick off the West reserves and replace with Curry?

  • ATL dynamite

Small market teams are bounded to be more disadvantaged than big markets like Chicago… enough said. The way Al and Josh turn this rebuilding roster into a competitive team has been beautiful (counting out their latest slide). As a long time NBA fan I won’t refuse to expect the backdoor politics in the whole All-star selection thing, but the way my guys got looked over has turned to be more disappointing.

  • http://www.facebook.com/natgeo02 Neitel Agosto

WOW…No Lillard…he will have to play in the rookie showcase, in which he will be the MVP! No Steph? No Jeremy Lin?? LOL, kidding about LIN….Jrue Holiday made it because Derrick Rose is still out…but D.Rose will be back in 2014 ASG! Stephen Curry and Jennings might be the most dissapointing…besides Deron Williams. Dont tell me that Mike D’Antoni got to vote?? He needs to improve his team, before he gets the priveledge to vote!!! Go Pelicans! LMAO

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

Boozer should not have made it over George. Maybe Boozer over Deng but no way, George has played like an all star no doubt. Plus if you look at it like this–the Pacers would have no all stars while the Bulls would have 3??? it’s good the way it is

  • Redd

I feel Horford should’ve, from an unbiased standpoint. Horford deserves it more than Deng I’ll be honest.

Am I upset at it? NOPE our guys went #1 seed back to back & only Rose got in(2nd year Deng got it & got to play an insane 2 seconds).

  • http://www.facebook.com/natgeo02 Neitel Agosto

    J-Smoove also got disrespected!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

why is that such a joke? the Nets are in 3rd place and he has better stats than Chris Bosh

  • http://twitter.com/impsawsm Impossibly Awesome

Smith is going to have to bounce to a different team and reinvent himself if he ever wants to be an all star. It’s definitely not happening in Atlanta.

  • Redd

Really? Boozer is averaging a double double..he shouldn’t have been picked over George…reallllly? Lol..Boozer is about an assist lower than George also.

Ok, fine Deng didn’t deserve it, then Horford does not George.

  • Redd

Horford I feel, even much as I’m a bias Bulls fan & a big one, I’ll be unbiased and say he deserved it.

Chicago is a big market team but remember we got snubbed twice while being #1.

  • Redd

    He’s right, completely.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

You are right. I think Lopez and Horford were both more deserving then Deng and Bosh. But I can’t really gripe about Bosh too much, he’s been really good

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

I don’t really like Boozer more than Lopez or Horford either. I mean, he’s been better than Horford lately (not Lopez), but the 25-30 games before that, no way. But not a big gripe from me either way, other than Deng.

  • Redd

Idk, it hard for me to feel bad after the crazy snubs we got.

As a Warriors fan however, Curry not making it is just unacceptable. He’s 20-6 & his team has beaten top teams.

  • Justin05

Steph would make it if he was on the east coast but Westbrook and Parker are hard to argue against. Harden deserves to be there as well.

  • Redd

An argument would work against Parker, but Parker wins a close 1 by default I guess.

  • Crazy_nigga

Watch more basketball. New up and coming talent in the NBA.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Curry should have made it no question. Aldridge, while being “better” as an all around player, has not been what Curry has for his team.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Aldridge. That’s who shouldn’t be there. Even tho he’s been a better all-around player, he hasn’t been what Steph has for GS

  • Redd

But it goes by position so ya couldn’t do much in that instance since the format now is Guard-Forward.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Last 2 spots are “wild card” spots my dood

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

Aldridge surprised me. Didn’t even think about him over Lillard.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Oh he’s been better than Lillard lol. Don’t let the media cloud what’s going on. He’s actually been better then a lot of guys. The team just scratching too much to give him this shine right now (imo)

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

The Pacers deserve to have an All-Star and George has stepped up in Granger’s absence. Boozer should have made it over Deng in my opinion. I say Kyrie has a permanent spot every season from now on. He, Rondo and Holiday will be competing for the reserve spots at the guard position behind Rose and Wade.

  • Redd

Oh I thought it was guard-forwards equally, my bad. Yeah then that adds a bigger a wth to my wth.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

I haven’t heard anything about him at all. All I hear about is Lillard. Sometimes I hear about Batum more than Aldridge. I rarely check Portland’s games when I look at highlights/box scores. So that’s on me. Had no idea he’s averaging 21 and 9.

  • Redd

The Pacers to me are the East version of the Nuggets.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

I see where you’re coming from. But George sticks out more than any other player on that team to me. The Nuggets have no standouts.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

It’s just soooo much Lillard hype it’s outrageous. That team is at .500 because Aldridge is the best 4 in the league. The problem is, especially early in the season, Terry Stotts has them running a whacky offense that featured Aldridge as a jump shooter rather than the offensive centerpiece. Which in turn yielded Lillard thriving – — but since then (8-12) they have grabbed a better hold of what they should be doing and have gone (13-9) with Aldridge putting up = http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/aldrila01/gamelog/2013/#454-474-sum:pgl_basic
    -
Which is really just him being more efficient as a result of being closer to the basket.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Well Aldridge has actually been better. Don’t get it twisted. The blazers are at just .500 – so he shouldn’t get it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

Josh Smith over boozer and deng in imo and it is not by a wide margin, his defense and overall game make a statement. But,however those long twos and contested threes make a statement too. I really believe if he could get his shooting % around 52 to 55 range he would be a lock

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

Deron is my favorite pg but he needed to not be on the team this year to wake him up. I claim tjat he doesnt miss another for the next 3 years at least

  • Redd

Well 1) I’m bias 2) Warriors deserve it with how good they are

The counterpoint being I guess, it’s their first successful start whereas Blazers have been there before.

  • Redd

Good point there, George has made highlight reels. But I still believe that fact doesn’t trump the stats Boozer has produced.

  • Redd

16 & 10 over 16 & 8? I agree with your 2nd point, his horrid shot selection give him a disadvantage. He’s a great athlete but he still seems raw at times.

His passing skills are better seemingly which I admit is in his favor against Boozer. As a guy that wants(ed) Boozer amnestied..to be honest I’d prefer this years Boozer over a Josh Smith, no bias attached.

  • NIyosimba

Why is Tim Duncan still voted into the all star game? The man has clearly stated he would rather rest than play in the game. lol

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

The Pacers and Bulls are tied for 4th in the East. George leads the Pacers in scoring, tied for 2nd in rebounding, 2nd in assists. If Boozer was to make it, it would be over Deng in my opinion.

  • http://twitter.com/thursti_tyht Thurstian Tsui

Deng should not have made it this year.

  • danpowers

    josh smith cant be happy

  • Redd

Hm true, but Lopez then should make it over George.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

Can’t believe they weren’t running their offense through him.

  • Slick Ric

Brook lopez should be in the all-star game over tyson and Steph should be in over Lamarcus.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

The Pacers deserve one All-Star to me. Lopez deserves to be there. I would have picked Boozer over Noah.

  • Redd

Pacers deserve 1 more than the Nets do? Pacers are a joke.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

I totally respect that bro I didn’t factor in the winning record either for Boozer, I think this will really light a fire under him and he should make the next three at least. Him and Deron Williams both will.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

Next year it will all be about the Butler, right :D

  • Redd

LOL he’ll be the first All Star starter & reserve, mark my words or I’ll never return to Slam.

  • Redd

If Josh Smith can truly use his athleticism & add some good basketball IQ when he plays, he’s a scary player.

D-Will however..idk people feel he’s just losing it. Might be an off-year, time will tell.

  • BurgerKing

Chandler got in by default. And the person that said Boozer deserves to make it over George, please just stop posting..

  • J-Ro

Tyson Chandler will be the worst all star this year. All he does is play defense and nobody plays defense in this game lol

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

yeah at his age he needs an answer much sooner than later.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

Lol alright, for this sites sake, I hope this comes true because you are one of the better contributors here.

  • http://twitter.com/thursti_tyht Thurstian Tsui

Aldridge is a horrible defender though.

  • LeroyShonuff

Jrue making the team over Jennings is the biggest crime nobody is talking about!!! Besides having two very equal teams, Brandon has his team currently in 7th place and 6game better record than Jrue has his team. Yes Jrue PER is 1.4 points higher, the fact is Coaches, Scouts, GM’s, Writers, Analyst and Super Fans love to say “you reward the players on winning teams” well where is the reward for Jennings? Where is the “he doesn’t make his teammates better” argument at? He took a bad team to the playoffs as a rookie, carried a abysmal team the last few years and has a team that wasn’t picked to be in the playoffs as a 7th seed. The sixers was darkhorse NBA contenders and they are currently outside of the playoff picture and sliding. Absolutely amazing the bias that is in this League…

  • dub1

What about monta ellis? No AS appearance…one of the most underrated players in the league

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Junior-Taylor/100003121138419 Junior Taylor

Deng/JHoliday on the east side shouldn’t have made it. BLopez and JSmoove should have. LAldridge on the west side shouldn’t have made it, SCurry should have.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Junior-Taylor/100003121138419 Junior Taylor

Jennings is shooting 40% from the field while avg. only (for a PG) 5.8apg and is atrocious on the defensive end. So…..I beg to differ.

  • http://twitter.com/thursti_tyht Thurstian Tsui

I really hope JSmoove leaves Atlanta, he’s like the Gasol of the Hawks.

  • Max

Omahgawd, how can Steph not make it…

  • shutup

    Tim Duncan FTW.

  • Max

I don’t think anyone was thinking he would make it.

  • Max

    Well, he catches lobs.

  • JML-G

nice to snub off winning teams and give losers players – Dwight (thats on u stupid fans), Holiday and Irving has no business being there this year.. plus Bulls do not deserve two all-stars, if better teams gets less or zero all-stars. also boring ass Spurs shouldve had just one allstar.

  • JML-G

oh yea and i love Celtics, but KG shouldnt have been there either. just keepin it real.

  • JML-G

every asian bball fan thought JLin shouldve started over CP3

  • JML-G

NBA want good citizens not thugs in their all-star game, nobody cares bout winning

  • common sense!

These comments make me laugh, Josh Smith an allstar, seriously!! Wow I’m guessing its you fools who voted KG, Dwight Howard and Dwayne Wade in as starters. Good job they leave the reserves to the coaches!!!

  • Max

Guess there are more non asian fans than I guess?
And no chance he would get in by the coaches.

  • Max

    Who should start before DWade?

  • Max

Spurs are not boring, if you actually watch their games plus they really do deserve 2 allstars.

  • http://twitter.com/d3ff mozao!

steph curry not there … and if theres a blazer on that team its DLillard

  • danpowers

lol so true. smith not makin it is the second worst nba joke so far, right after naming a franchise pelicans

  • danpowers

cant china be excluded from the nba voting somehow? lol

  • danpowers

im not sayin any of these guys here deserved it less but its somehow sad that jamal crawford and jr smith didnt get rewarded for their stellar play this season. right after the big snubs like j smith n curry

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

Both Lopez and George should be there. I’d take them over Noah and Deng.

  • Nick

Excuse me?!?! Where is Brian Scalabrin?!?!

  • MasterSplinter

I have Steph Curry on my Fantasy team, and look at his team record…wow.. honestly…buzz aside he deserves it more than Harden…P.S. i have Harden too. Golden State is holding it down. Houston…Eh…

  • Common sense

Dent leads the bulls in points and minutes, how can fools be saying boozer should make it over him? Paul George an allstar, please! Maybe next yr but he ain’t an allstar right now especially when jamal Crawford is playing how he is! When I look at the east and to think Dwayne wade is the best sg(which he is) I can’t help but think the east is thin on shooting guards because there ain’t a chance in hell he’d start on he west team, dawde was nice but he lost a step and he isn’t as fundamental as Kobe or say tim Duncan to age so gracefully plus he became a bit of a diva not like the old dwade who used to take hits and get on with it.

  • Youngindy21

You are an idiot. Jamal Crawford and Paul George play in different conferences. Not only that they play two different positions this year. Don’t act outraged when you don’t even know how the NBA works.

  • Da-Meat-Hook

“Every Asian fan thought JLin should’ve started over CP3″?!
Word? If that were the case, why isn’t he starting? That’s just an ignorant statement that has holds no weight. Not all Asians watch basketball be watch basketball because there’s an Asian in it.

  • Da-Meat-Hook

*watch basketball because there’s an Asian playing in the nba

  • Redd

    You hurt me there.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

    Sorry bro.

  • Redd

Your Malcolm X avatar used to represent a mutual hero, now..idk.

On a serious note, I mentioned this a few times, but the Bulls got snubbed while being #1 back to back. I may have felt bad for other teams if that wasnt the situation. But I’m happy, we deserved it, stats or not.

  • Lloyd Price

This is just another example of why there NEEDS to be a 2-3 year college limit. So many high draft picks play little to no minutes. I mean these are really, really talented kids who make horrendous decisions and end up riding the bench and being a no name. Not knocking the all-stars – good for them – but, man the list is weak. All-Star weekend is great, but the actual product is beans compared to the build-up, marketing, anticipation.

  • ihatenupes

That’s their choice. They have a right to struggle on the bench. Teams have the right to draft them. No reason to force kids to enrich the NCAA and lessen the amount of money they can make long term. If teams want to draft based on potential they have a right to do it.

  • Lorne

You must really be on drugs if you believe that.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

You mean the last 2 seasons? Just a guess, but that was probably because Rose was so much better than the next best player on the team. Who knows what influences the coaches with their decisions each season? Guys have agendas. They have friends who are coaches and they vote for their players, etc. A lot plays into it.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    that is blatantly false

  • Redd

Eh politics true, not to sound rude but I’m not losing any sleep over it but this happens every year & every year we argue. Damn you white man jk.

  • Redd

Na, don’t do that. You should insult me, if you do people will like you more because I’m not liked at all here lol.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

ehh, being liked is overrated. i haven’t been liked around here for years.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

why would Smith make it over Horford?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

LOL, no it isn’t a crime. Jennings doesn’t deserve to be an all-star by any stretch of the imagination.

    .

And you want proof that he doesn’t deserve to be an All-Star? Here,

    .

    Now, onto the FACTS:

    - The Bucks have 2 players playing more than half their minutes — actually, those two player play about 75% of the teams minutes (Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis)

    - The Bucks have 3 players who are a -54 or worse on the season (that means, they have 3 players whose time on the court has netted a point differential of minus 54 points or more)

    …. – Monta Ellis = (- 54)

    …. – Luc Richard Mba Amoute = (- 55)

    …. – Brandon Jennings = (- 78)

    .

    - Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis combine to shoot 34 shots a game, for a whopping 37.5 points. Which is AWFUL. AWFUL. AWFUL.

    .

    - Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis combined, use half their teams possessions, yet, their offensive ratings are worse then their defensive ratings —- which means, what they produce offensively, does not make up for what they give up defensively.

    .
So you have a team that is over .500, yet their two “best” players are a net negative on the court, both together, and as individuals. —– All of this paints pretty clearly that the Bucks, are doing what they are doing IN SPITE of their guards, not because of them.

  • Redd

I don’t much really care, just know these jerks are going to single him out cause he seems to like some of my points which I’m humbled about. It’s like high school on here sometimes.

    Being liked is overrated, indeed.

  • Lorne

Man don’t take it personal. It’s just a message board. People like myself go in on you mainly because you’re quick to namecall. Nobody knows anyone in real life.

  • Redd

I don’t, it’s no biggie everyone has an opinion & I respect it.

Honestly, I’m not big on name calling, I just get tired of people getting upset that my opinion isn’t the same as theirs. Instead of correcting me with proof they say idk basketball fully.

Idk everything nor close to it. Not everyone is @disqus_rOeXXBD2qs:disqus lol.

  • Lorne

I feel ya. We all get passionate about the sport.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

you really really really under appreciate Noah.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

You would have chosen him over Lopez and George?

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

exactly….no one really made the team that was undeserving..except MAYBE Aldridge. maybe.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

I just think it comes down to the Bulls and Pacers having identical records…the Pacers deserved an all star

  • Redd

And Brooklyn has a better record..

  • LeroyShonuff

You can honestly say in spite of when nobody else on that team can create their own shot must less avg 15 a night. Does Jennings jack up shots, yes, but that is what his team needs!!! He is the Bucks best player and he has his team currently sitting at the 7th spot. That is a fact. What would you want the bucks to do? Bench both? Bench Jennings? The bucks are winning because of Jennings and not in spite of. Look at the sixers roster and the bucks. tell me which team has the greater talent.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    without Bynum?
    .
    the Bucks. Everyday of everyweek.
    .
Defense wins more than Offense. — and what advantages the Sixers do have offensively, are so inefficient it doesn’t really matter.
    .
Defensively, the Bucks are better at every position but the PG.

  • https://twitter.com/jasontichenor Mr. Wet

I even think David West should have got more consideration. He’s the go to guy to close out games.

  • LeroyShonuff

I see your point, but the sixers ineptitude has to fall on their point guard. It is his job to get that team in position to be a efficient offensive basketball team. If that isn’t the case, then the blame lies on Jrue. It’s not like Jennings has offensive stars in Larry Sanders and Ersan and John Henson while Jrue atleast has Young, Turner, Wright, Hawes and the world’s greatest Nick Young… Players from winning teams should be rewarded or that’s what the people been screaming for the past decade and half. And Josh Smith should of def made it over Bosh. I am in the belief that a Smith for Bosh trade makes both teams better and covers weaknesses both teams have.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

the only way you can say that about Jrue Holiday is if you haven’t been watching the Sixers.

    .

other than Thaddeus Young, they don’t have a player on the roster who has even been AVERAGE.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

“Josh Smith should have definitely made it over Bosh”
    .
    No!
    .
Josh Smith hasn’t even been better than Al Horford bruh.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

Yeah thats all it is mostly everybody is passionate, I don’t care who like who on here all i care about is hoops and a great convo/debate no matter who it comes from

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

    well Brook Lopez got snubbed

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

lol once I tell that I think shock exchange is the most entertaining guy on here they will single me out. Lol but really tho I had been on here for a year just watching guys like you, junior taylor, nbk, philosopher, Dpowers, and rk and yall made me decide to jump in.

And the bucks do? C’mon sir. The sixers talent level is higher, how they maximize that talent is totally up to them.

.the list of players who are statistically above average for Milwuakee reads,

    – Larry Sander

    - Brandon Jennings

    - John Henson

    - Ersan Ilyasova

    - Beno Udrih

    - Monta Ellis

    - Samuel Dalembert

.the list of players who are statistically above average for Philadelphia reads,

    - Jrue Holiday

    - Thaddeus Young

    - Spencer Hawes

    .

    .

Now i personally would not consider John Henson, Beno Udrih, Sam Dalembert, or Spencer Hawes has being above average this season. But statistically speaking they are, so i included them.

    .

either way, that leaves Milwaukee with 7 (or 4) players above average, and the 76ers with 3 (or 2) players above average.

    .

The Bucks are better. They just, again, don’t have the “scorers” that look pretty on paper, but are actually bad players —- (F.E. = Nick Young/Jason Richardson/Evan Turner)

You should continue to, it’s fun to give an opinion & see if there’s flaws in it & then you learn.

Sir so is that Jennings fault that his teammates maximize their abilities while Jrue doesn’t? If the qualifications for all-star game reverses has been yelled out for the past 20years is that players on winning teams get the nod over those on losing, then why isn’t that rationale applied to Jennings? Jrue P.E.R is only 1.4% higher than Jennings. That is a slim margin. From my understanding that stat includes all the relevant stats. The margin of productivity between the two is slim but the win differential is large. Do we reward winners or individual efforts? If it is effort then David Lee should of been a All-Star for this season is no different than his others. But he got on because his team is winning! Same standard should be applied for Jennings. Also Jrue is a first year selection on a underachieving team… that sir is comical

here man, think of it like this,
    .
who deserved to be an All-Star more, JR Smith, or Kyrie Irving?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

this is the third time i’ve responded to this,
    .
Jrue is not on an underachieving team first of all. Unless you think teams who don’t have their best player should be successful?
    .
And all this talk about successful teams, you are lauding a player who, as an individual, has had a NEGATIVE impact on his team, that is winning DESPITE of it.
    .
You can say Jennings is a positive, but he FACTUALLY isn’t.
    .
And you wouldn’t pick JR Smith to make the All-Star team over Kyrie Irving anyway now would you?

  • Caboose

Yeah, my association with you has been dragging me down man….damn you.

  • Caboose

BAMN tends to be the most level-headed, I think. I lose it when it’s LakeShow. As some of you have probably seen.

  • Caboose

Cause he’s the clear-cut DPOY, the star on the 2nd best team in the league, a legend, and the funniest player to interview.

  • Caboose

    Monta? Lol.

  • Caboose

    HAWES!

  • Caboose

That was masterful….at demonstrating how you shouldn’t comment.

  • Caboose

He received every vote, but declined. There is no glory in winning something so easy.

yeah I haven’t see him in a minute though, Lol I can’t believe I almost forgot bout you too either dude !

  • Caboose

You are aware he has the highest offensive rating BY FAR this year right?

  • Caboose

He’s still in ATL. No chance.

  • danpowers

i thought it was still the coaches, not the fans who elect the subs. size of a market shouldnt play a role in that. i mean j smith had a bad season by his standards but then at least horford wouldve deserved that

  • Caboose

I mean that Josh wants OUT of Atlanta.

  • danpowers

ahhhh, my bad. but yes, cant blame him for that

  • Caboose

    Word.

  • justin05

It’s close but the west is just stacked at pg. This is a guards league outside of LBJ and Durant so some ballplayers were going to get snubbed.

  • Sam I am

    Rudy Gay

  • Armando

Says the one whose team is named after baggy knee trousers.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    It should have been,
    - Jrue
    - Kyrie
    - Lopez
    - Noah
    - Chandler
    - George
    - Bosh/Horford
