2013 NBA All-Star Reserves Announced


We already knew about the starters, but now the NBA has announced the 2013 All-Star reserves. Here they are:

    I can’t really be mad about any of these picks. Was a little surprised with Deng, thought Lopez woulda got the nod. But, all in all, well done coaches.

    Steph Curry not being there is absolutely ridiculous. No way to explain him not being on that list. Paul George is about to make Danny Granger expendable. A little surprised with Deng making it over Boozer. Congrats to Jrue Holiday even though his team isn’t winning. Congrats to Kyrie Irving. This will start a good run of ASG appearances for him. The coaches seem to be upset about Avery Johnson getting fired.

    Absolutely outrageous Curry didn’t.

    Feel Boozer should’ve made it over George & I hate the 6ers so, that speaks for itself. But Irving should make reserve consistently unless Rose’s return doesn’t pan out.

    Yeah..Bulls fans including me were all hoping for boozer & Noah..didn’t expect Deng. Not saying he didn’t deserve it, but didn’t expect him to break win.

    Either Al Horford or J-Smoove should have made the team. The Bulls just had a slight edge on records over the Hawks, and the Bulls have 2 on the All-star team. As much as I like Deng’s game, he shouldn’t be on the All-star team – not because he hasn’t been good this year, but someone else is playing better than him.
    By the way, Steph Curry got snubbed big time. Wish him and J-Smoove would get to the team if anyone on the current All-star team roster got injured.

    Bulls also have guys showing up after losing 6 good players. I realize you’re a ATL fan, so with all due respect..ATL isn’t really being considered as a threat. I hope they do well & maybe it’s unwarranted but they’re overlooked.

    Small market teams are bounded to be more disadvantaged than big markets like Chicago… enough said. The way Al and Josh turn this rebuilding roster into a competitive team has been beautiful (counting out their latest slide). As a long time NBA fan I won’t refuse to expect the backdoor politics in the whole All-star selection thing, but the way my guys got looked over has turned to be more disappointing.

    WOW…No Lillard…he will have to play in the rookie showcase, in which he will be the MVP! No Steph? No Jeremy Lin?? LOL, kidding about LIN….Jrue Holiday made it because Derrick Rose is still out…but D.Rose will be back in 2014 ASG! Stephen Curry and Jennings might be the most dissapointing…besides Deron Williams. Dont tell me that Mike D’Antoni got to vote?? He needs to improve his team, before he gets the priveledge to vote!!! Go Pelicans! LMAO

    Boozer should not have made it over George. Maybe Boozer over Deng but no way, George has played like an all star no doubt. Plus if you look at it like this–the Pacers would have no all stars while the Bulls would have 3??? it’s good the way it is

    I feel Horford should’ve, from an unbiased standpoint. Horford deserves it more than Deng I’ll be honest.

    Am I upset at it? NOPE our guys went #1 seed back to back & only Rose got in(2nd year Deng got it & got to play an insane 2 seconds).

    Smith is going to have to bounce to a different team and reinvent himself if he ever wants to be an all star. It’s definitely not happening in Atlanta.

    Chicago is a big market team but remember we got snubbed twice while being #1.

    I don’t really like Boozer more than Lopez or Horford either. I mean, he’s been better than Horford lately (not Lopez), but the 25-30 games before that, no way. But not a big gripe from me either way, other than Deng.

    Idk, it hard for me to feel bad after the crazy snubs we got.

    As a Warriors fan however, Curry not making it is just unacceptable. He’s 20-6 & his team has beaten top teams.

    Steph would make it if he was on the east coast but Westbrook and Parker are hard to argue against. Harden deserves to be there as well.

    Curry should have made it no question. Aldridge, while being “better” as an all around player, has not been what Curry has for his team.

    Oh he’s been better than Lillard lol. Don’t let the media cloud what’s going on. He’s actually been better then a lot of guys. The team just scratching too much to give him this shine right now (imo)

    The Pacers deserve to have an All-Star and George has stepped up in Granger’s absence. Boozer should have made it over Deng in my opinion. I say Kyrie has a permanent spot every season from now on. He, Rondo and Holiday will be competing for the reserve spots at the guard position behind Rose and Wade.
