2013 NBA All-Star Reserves Announced


We already knew about the starters, but now the NBA has announced the 2013 All-Star reserves. Here they are:

East Reserves:
Jrue Holiday
Paul George
Chris Bosh
Tyson Chandler
Kyrie Irving
Luol Deng
Joakim Noah

West Reserves:
Tony Parker
Russell Westbrook
James Harden
LaMarcus Aldridge
Zach Randolph
David Lee

    I haven’t heard anything about him at all. All I hear about is Lillard. Sometimes I hear about Batum more than Aldridge. I rarely check Portland’s games when I look at highlights/box scores. So that’s on me. Had no idea he’s averaging 21 and 9.

    It’s just soooo much Lillard hype it’s outrageous. That team is at .500 because Aldridge is the best 4 in the league. The problem is, especially early in the season, Terry Stotts has them running a whacky offense that featured Aldridge as a jump shooter rather than the offensive centerpiece.     Well Aldridge has actually been better. Don’t get it twisted. The blazers are at just .500 – so he shouldn’t get it.

    Josh Smith over boozer and deng in imo and it is not by a wide margin, his defense and overall game make a statement. But,however those long twos and contested threes make a statement too. I really believe if he could get his shooting % around 52 to 55 range he would be a lock

    Deron is my favorite pg but he needed to not be on the team this year to wake him up. I claim tjat he doesnt miss another for the next 3 years at least

    16 & 10 over 16 & 8? I agree with your 2nd point, his horrid shot selection give him a disadvantage. He’s a great athlete but he still seems raw at times.

    His passing skills are better seemingly which I admit is in his favor against Boozer. As a guy that wants(ed) Boozer amnestied..to be honest I’d prefer this years Boozer over a Josh Smith, no bias attached.

    The Pacers and Bulls are tied for 4th in the East. George leads the Pacers in scoring, tied for 2nd in rebounding, 2nd in assists. If Boozer was to make it, it would be over Deng in my opinion.

    The Pacers deserve one All-Star to me. Lopez deserves to be there. I would have picked Boozer over Noah.

    Jrue making the team over Jennings is the biggest crime nobody is talking about!!! Besides having two very equal teams, Brandon has his team currently in 7th place and 6game better record than Jrue has his team. Yes Jrue PER is 1.4 points higher, the fact is Coaches, Scouts, GM’s, Writers, Analyst and Super Fans love to say “you reward the players on winning teams” well where is the reward for Jennings? Where is the “he doesn’t make his teammates better” argument at? He took a bad team to the playoffs as a rookie, carried a abysmal team the last few years and has a team that wasn’t picked to be in the playoffs as a 7th seed. The sixers was darkhorse NBA contenders and they are currently outside of the playoff picture and sliding. Absolutely amazing the bias that is in this League…

    Jennings is shooting 40% from the field while avg. only (for a PG) 5.8apg and is atrocious on the defensive end. So…..I beg to differ.
