Excuse me?!?! Where is Brian Scalabrin?!?!

  • MasterSplinter

I have Steph Curry on my Fantasy team, and look at his team record…wow.. honestly…buzz aside he deserves it more than Harden…P.S. i have Harden too. Golden State is holding it down. Houston…Eh…

  • Common sense

Dent leads the bulls in points and minutes, how can fools be saying boozer should make it over him? Paul George an allstar, please! Maybe next yr but he ain’t an allstar right now especially when jamal Crawford is playing how he is! When I look at the east and to think Dwayne wade is the best sg(which he is) I can’t help but think the east is thin on shooting guards because there ain’t a chance in hell he’d start on he west team, dawde was nice but he lost a step and he isn’t as fundamental as Kobe or say tim Duncan to age so gracefully plus he became a bit of a diva not like the old dwade who used to take hits and get on with it.

  • Youngindy21

You are an idiot. Jamal Crawford and Paul George play in different conferences. Not only that they play two different positions this year. Don’t act outraged when you don’t even know how the NBA works.

  • Da-Meat-Hook

“Every Asian fan thought JLin should’ve started over CP3″?!
Word? If that were the case, why isn’t he starting? That’s just an ignorant statement that has holds no weight. Not all Asians watch basketball be watch basketball because there’s an Asian in it.

  • Da-Meat-Hook

*watch basketball because there’s an Asian playing in the nba

  • Redd

    You hurt me there.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

    Sorry bro.

  • Redd

Your Malcolm X avatar used to represent a mutual hero, now..idk.

On a serious note, I mentioned this a few times, but the Bulls got snubbed while being #1 back to back. I may have felt bad for other teams if that wasnt the situation. But I’m happy, we deserved it, stats or not.

  • Lloyd Price

This is just another example of why there NEEDS to be a 2-3 year college limit. So many high draft picks play little to no minutes. I mean these are really, really talented kids who make horrendous decisions and end up riding the bench and being a no name. Not knocking the all-stars – good for them – but, man the list is weak. All-Star weekend is great, but the actual product is beans compared to the build-up, marketing, anticipation.

  • ihatenupes

That’s their choice. They have a right to struggle on the bench. Teams have the right to draft them. No reason to force kids to enrich the NCAA and lessen the amount of money they can make long term. If teams want to draft based on potential they have a right to do it.

  • Lorne

You must really be on drugs if you believe that.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

You mean the last 2 seasons? Just a guess, but that was probably because Rose was so much better than the next best player on the team. Who knows what influences the coaches with their decisions each season? Guys have agendas. They have friends who are coaches and they vote for their players, etc. A lot plays into it.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    that is blatantly false

  • Redd

Eh politics true, not to sound rude but I’m not losing any sleep over it but this happens every year & every year we argue. Damn you white man jk.

  • Redd

Na, don’t do that. You should insult me, if you do people will like you more because I’m not liked at all here lol.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

ehh, being liked is overrated. i haven’t been liked around here for years.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

why would Smith make it over Horford?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

LOL, no it isn’t a crime. Jennings doesn’t deserve to be an all-star by any stretch of the imagination.

    .

And you want proof that he doesn’t deserve to be an All-Star? Here,

    .

    Now, onto the FACTS:

    - The Bucks have 2 players playing more than half their minutes — actually, those two player play about 75% of the teams minutes (Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis)

    - The Bucks have 3 players who are a -54 or worse on the season (that means, they have 3 players whose time on the court has netted a point differential of minus 54 points or more)

    …. – Monta Ellis = (- 54)

    …. – Luc Richard Mba Amoute = (- 55)

    …. – Brandon Jennings = (- 78)

    .

    - Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis combine to shoot 34 shots a game, for a whopping 37.5 points. Which is AWFUL. AWFUL. AWFUL.

    .

    - Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis combined, use half their teams possessions, yet, their offensive ratings are worse then their defensive ratings —- which means, what they produce offensively, does not make up for what they give up defensively.

    .
So you have a team that is over .500, yet their two “best” players are a net negative on the court, both together, and as individuals. —– All of this paints pretty clearly that the Bucks, are doing what they are doing IN SPITE of their guards, not because of them.

  • Redd

I don’t much really care, just know these jerks are going to single him out cause he seems to like some of my points which I’m humbled about. It’s like high school on here sometimes.

    Being liked is overrated, indeed.

  • Lorne

Man don’t take it personal. It’s just a message board. People like myself go in on you mainly because you’re quick to namecall. Nobody knows anyone in real life.

  • Redd

I don’t, it’s no biggie everyone has an opinion & I respect it.

Honestly, I’m not big on name calling, I just get tired of people getting upset that my opinion isn’t the same as theirs. Instead of correcting me with proof they say idk basketball fully.

Idk everything nor close to it. Not everyone is @disqus_rOeXXBD2qs:disqus lol.

  • Lorne

I feel ya. We all get passionate about the sport.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

you really really really under appreciate Noah.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

You would have chosen him over Lopez and George?

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

exactly….no one really made the team that was undeserving..except MAYBE Aldridge. maybe.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

I just think it comes down to the Bulls and Pacers having identical records…the Pacers deserved an all star

  • Redd

And Brooklyn has a better record..

  • LeroyShonuff

You can honestly say in spite of when nobody else on that team can create their own shot must less avg 15 a night. Does Jennings jack up shots, yes, but that is what his team needs!!! He is the Bucks best player and he has his team currently sitting at the 7th spot. That is a fact. What would you want the bucks to do? Bench both? Bench Jennings? The bucks are winning because of Jennings and not in spite of. Look at the sixers roster and the bucks. tell me which team has the greater talent.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    without Bynum?
    .
    the Bucks. Everyday of everyweek.
    .
Defense wins more than Offense. — and what advantages the Sixers do have offensively, are so inefficient it doesn’t really matter.
    .
Defensively, the Bucks are better at every position but the PG.

  • https://twitter.com/jasontichenor Mr. Wet

I even think David West should have got more consideration. He’s the go to guy to close out games.

  • LeroyShonuff

I see your point, but the sixers ineptitude has to fall on their point guard. It is his job to get that team in position to be a efficient offensive basketball team. If that isn’t the case, then the blame lies on Jrue. It’s not like Jennings has offensive stars in Larry Sanders and Ersan and John Henson while Jrue atleast has Young, Turner, Wright, Hawes and the world’s greatest Nick Young… Players from winning teams should be rewarded or that’s what the people been screaming for the past decade and half. And Josh Smith should of def made it over Bosh. I am in the belief that a Smith for Bosh trade makes both teams better and covers weaknesses both teams have.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

the only way you can say that about Jrue Holiday is if you haven’t been watching the Sixers.

    .

other than Thaddeus Young, they don’t have a player on the roster who has even been AVERAGE.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

“Josh Smith should have definitely made it over Bosh”
    .
    No!
    .
Josh Smith hasn’t even been better than Al Horford bruh.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

Yeah thats all it is mostly everybody is passionate, I don’t care who like who on here all i care about is hoops and a great convo/debate no matter who it comes from

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

    well Brook Lopez got snubbed

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000166716900 Anthony Darnello Taylor Jr.

lol once I tell that I think shock exchange is the most entertaining guy on here they will single me out. Lol but really tho I had been on here for a year just watching guys like you, junior taylor, nbk, philosopher, Dpowers, and rk and yall made me decide to jump in.

  • LeroyShonuff

And the bucks do? C’mon sir. The sixers talent level is higher, how they maximize that talent is totally up to them.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

.the list of players who are statistically above average for Milwuakee reads,

    – Larry Sander

    - Brandon Jennings

    - John Henson

    - Ersan Ilyasova

    - Beno Udrih

    - Monta Ellis

    - Samuel Dalembert

.the list of players who are statistically above average for Philadelphia reads,

    - Jrue Holiday

    - Thaddeus Young

    - Spencer Hawes

    .

    .

Now i personally would not consider John Henson, Beno Udrih, Sam Dalembert, or Spencer Hawes has being above average this season. But statistically speaking they are, so i included them.

    .

either way, that leaves Milwaukee with 7 (or 4) players above average, and the 76ers with 3 (or 2) players above average.

    .

The Bucks are better. They just, again, don’t have the “scorers” that look pretty on paper, but are actually bad players —- (F.E. = Nick Young/Jason Richardson/Evan Turner)

  • Redd

You should continue to, it’s fun to give an opinion & see if there’s flaws in it & then you learn.

  • LeroyShonuff

Sir so is that Jennings fault that his teammates maximize their abilities while Jrue doesn’t? If the qualifications for all-star game reverses has been yelled out for the past 20years is that players on winning teams get the nod over those on losing, then why isn’t that rationale applied to Jennings? Jrue P.E.R is only 1.4% higher than Jennings. That is a slim margin. From my understanding that stat includes all the relevant stats. The margin of productivity between the two is slim but the win differential is large. Do we reward winners or individual efforts? If it is effort then David Lee should of been a All-Star for this season is no different than his others. But he got on because his team is winning! Same standard should be applied for Jennings. Also Jrue is a first year selection on a underachieving team… that sir is comical

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

here man, think of it like this,
    .
who deserved to be an All-Star more, JR Smith, or Kyrie Irving?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

this is the third time i’ve responded to this,
    .
Jrue is not on an underachieving team first of all. Unless you think teams who don’t have their best player should be successful?
    .
And all this talk about successful teams, you are lauding a player who, as an individual, has had a NEGATIVE impact on his team, that is winning DESPITE of it.
    .
You can say Jennings is a positive, but he FACTUALLY isn’t.
    .
And you wouldn’t pick JR Smith to make the All-Star team over Kyrie Irving anyway now would you?

  • Caboose

Yeah, my association with you has been dragging me down man….damn you.

  • Caboose

BAMN tends to be the most level-headed, I think. I lose it when it’s LakeShow. As some of you have probably seen.

  • Caboose

Cause he’s the clear-cut DPOY, the star on the 2nd best team in the league, a legend, and the funniest player to interview.

  • Caboose

    Monta? Lol.

  • Caboose

    HAWES!

  • Caboose

That was masterful….at demonstrating how you shouldn’t comment.
