kg is probably the one you can make the strongest case against, eventhough you could probably make a case against whoever you replace him with

not against josh smith . id even pick tyson chandler which then would be something to argue about tho. id even argue that randolph, gay or m. gasol shouldve been picked over howard in the west and even westbrook or harden shouldve been picked over bryant as a reward for their success and play during the season so far.

class of 2003 trio! KG > Bosh, good choice

josh smith was desrving to be on the team in years past for sure (and this year too) but he is having a worse season than the last two years, so i don’t know if that should earn him the starting spot. yes, Howard u can argue against, but westbrook over kobe? westbrook is shooting like 41% and kobe has been balling

kg and melo starting together, should be interesting

  • Redd

    Tyson? You mean Joakim Noah?

And you can hate Kobe but im pretty sure he’s leading the league in scoring.

  • Redd

Never thought I’d say it, but without bias Boozer should be starting over KG.

kobe has been balling and losing. stars are supposed to contribute to the success of their teams. i think the lakers will pick it up tho but to this point id rather see guys getting rewarded for being successful. i also dont have any problem with kobe starting tho, besides that what he does is not contributing to team success it is still impressive how good he still is and how good he got his body in shape after 17yrs of nba grind

    noah too, my bad.

sure, i wont argue bryants election. just a thought that guys should also be rewarded for contributing to team success

  • Max

KG should not be an allstar..

  • Redd

I agree, really I do, but in this instance..hard to argue against the league leading scorer.

also true. alot of truth in this discussion lol

  • ChosenOne

Other than KG or maybe Griffin, nothing you can really argue about…..
But when the reserves get announced.. that’s when the raging arguments start.

  • Gregory Davis

    So True!

  • Gregory Davis

    Very, Very Interesting!

  • Gregory Davis

Or Maybe Joakim Noah. There is so many more to pick over KG

  • Gregory Davis

Oh! And they forgot to put Tyson Chandler, Griffin in the All Star Picks.

  • Redd

Agreed, I’m watching him play now and man is he sucking.

  • Armando

OK, but KG is really the only here who doesn’t deserve it. Naming the reserves should be fairly easy this year though:

West: Westbrook, Harden, Randolph, Lee, Duncan, Parker, Curry.

East (more difficult since there’s really not 7 deserving all-stars remaining, but…): Irving, Holiday, Pierce, Noah, Chandler and then the last two spots should go to either Bosh, George, Ellis, Deng, Horford, Smith or Jennings…

  • Gregory Davis

    Nuff said!, Thank You!

  • Jibreel

I really don’t understand why people say “*insert name here* doesn’t deserve to be an All-Star”. It’s for the fans, the All-Star game isn’t really important. All-NBA teams are what matter.
