Andray Blatche Not Worried About Sexual Assault Probe

Brooklyn Nets forward Andray Blatche was questioned by police this week, in connection to an alleged sexual assault. Blatche says that he’s confident he will be completely cleared. Per the Star-Ledger: “I’m not worried at all,’ Blatche said. ‘I know, when the truth comes out, then everybody will realize what really happened. In the meantime, I can’t really have too much comments on (it).’ Blatche, who has had a checkered past, was questioned by Philadelphia police Tuesday in connection with 21-year-old woman’s claim that she was raped in his hotel suite early that morning. The police, who also brought in two other men for questioning about the incident, reportedly said Blatche had no part in the alleged rape and Blatche was free to play for the Nets that night against the 76ers. He scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the Nets’ 109-89 victory. ‘I’ve got a job to do and I’m going to do my job. I’m not going to let (anything) distract me,’ Blatche said today when asked about keeping his focus on basketball. Blatche said he has spoken to his teammates and members of the Nets organization about the incident and ‘We all know what’s going on. Everybody’s supporting me and got my back 100 percent.'”
