Jordan Hill Likely Out For Season With Hip Injury

Not that the Lakers need any more bad news, but, uh…yeah, unfortunately, here’s a little more: Big man Jordan Hill is probably out for the year with a hip injury, according to ESPN LA: “Los Angeles Lakers reserve forward Jordan Hill likely will miss the remainder of the season because of a hip injury. Hill underwent an arthrogram test Friday on his injured left hip, and results showed that he has loose fragments in addition to a possible torn labrum, according to the Lakers. Hill has been advised that surgery will be needed to repair the injury, which would cause him to miss the remainder of the season. He will seek a second opinion before he schedules surgery, Hill’s agent, Kevin Bradbury, told ESPNLosAngeles.com. If Hill opts for surgery, the recovery period would be approximately six months, according to Hill. ‘I’m definitely heartbroken,’ Hill said after the Lakers lost 116-101 to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday to fall to 15-21.”
