How many “one last” playoff runs are the celtics going to have?…

Can you imagine KG and TD playing side by side?

Celtics get: Stephen Jackson, Danny Green, DeJuan Blair, 2013 2nd Round Pick
Spurs get: Kevin Garnett, Jason Collins

They don’t have the assets to really make much impact in a blowing up scenario this season. They’d have to give up one or both of their young guys (Avery or Sullinger) along with Pierce (KG’s contract is probably a non-starter), and they’d get what in return? Rudy Gay’s massive salary and bench fodder? Play out the season, and see what happens.

Also a good option, but Splitter is what, 28?

yes, but he is on an expiring contract, has minimal miles, and statistically has been better than Garnett all season.

True. I doubt Celtics fans would take kindly to that transaction.

I don’t think any KG trade would please Boston fans
