Warriors 114 (27-17), Raptors 92 (16-29)

The Warriors got a huge lift from Andrew Bogut who made his first appearance this season. Bogut looked good, tallying 12 points, 8 boards and 4 blocks in 23 minutes of play. But it wasn’t all good news for the Warriors. Steph Curry’s problematic ankle acted up once again after he rolled it in the third quarter. He left the game and did not return. Here’s hoping to a speedy recovery–the Warriors at full strength could be a force to be reckoned with. Anyway, the Warriors led 71-61 halfway through the third quarter but Jose Calderon sparked a 16-4 run with back-to-back three pointers to cut the deficit to two heading into the fourth. The Raps had momentum but the Warriors pulled away in the fourth, outscoring their opponent 30-20 en route to victory. David Lee scored 21 points and grabbed 12 boards and Klay Thompson dropped 19 and grabbed 7 boards. Aaron Gray finished with a career-high 2 points and 10 boards in the loss.

Grizzlies 103 (29-15), 76ers 100 (18-26)

Marc Gasol dropped a season-high 27 points, Rudy Gay dropped 26 and Jerryd Bayless scored a season-high 21 and 9 dimes as the Grizzlies overcame a 17-point deficit to get the dub. With three minutes and change remaining in the game, the Sixers took a 100-97 lead and had a chance to put the game away. But Philly couldn’t hang on and didn’t score again over the final three minutes. The Sixers had a shot to tie but Gasol blocked Nick Young’s last second three-pointer to preserve the win. Evan Turner scored a season-high 27, Thad Young scored 23 and grabbed 7 boards and Jrue Holiday finished with 18 and 10 dimes.

Kings 96 (17-29), Wizards 94 (11-32)

Isaiah Thomas was the hottest player on the court so it was no surprise he got the ball with only seconds remaining. With the score tied up at 94, Thomas caught the inbounds pass and took it right at Garrett Temple. The second year guard drove the lane and dropped in a left-handed floater with a second to go to give the Kings a 96-94 lead and the win. Thomas finished with a team-high 22 points and 7 assists. ‘Reke Evans finished with 13 points, 6 dimes, 5 boards and 4 steals. Emeka Okafor finished with 23 points and 15 boards, Martell Webster scored 18 and John Wall scored 19 points and dropped 6 dimes.

Nets 97 (27-18), Magic 77 (14-30)

The Nets notched their eighth-straight home victory last night with a blowout victory over the Magic. The Magic were hanging around early in the fourth before the Nets ripped off a 9-0 run headed by MarShon Brooks (8 points off the bench) and Keith Bogans (12 points off the bench) to go up 16 and cruise to victory. Deron Williams finished with 20 points and 9 dimes and Brook Lopez scored 16. Nikola Vucevic led Orlando with 18 points and 9 boards.

Bulls 93 (27-17), Bobcats 85 (11-33)

The Bulls continue to rack up wins and are becoming an intriguing team with Derrick Rose reportedly practicing in full with the team sometime this week. Chicago led by nine at the half but the Bobcats kept fighting and eventually tied it at 55 with three and a half minutes to go in the third. Chicago then reeled off a 13-0 run to end the third and start the fourth to put the game away. Luol Deng returned from injury and finished with 12 points in 31 minutes while the ever improving Jimmy Butler scored a career high 19 points on 7-10 shooting. Kemba Walker finished with 18 points and 6 assists.

Nuggets 102 (28-18), Pacers 101 (26-19)

The Nuggets and Warriors went down to the wire last night in a game that pitted a high octane offense against a stout defense. The Nuggets led by 14 in the fourth quarter but the Pacers crawled back and tied the game up at 101 with under a second to go. With 0.5 seconds remaining, Andre Iguodala (13 points, 10 boards, 7 dimes) signaled for a timeout after coming up with a huge steal. On the ensuing inbounds play, Andre Miller lobbed a pass towards the hoop that Dre and Paul George (23 points, 10 boards, 5 dimes) both went up for. George was called for a controversial foul and Iguodala stepped to the line where he had missed his previous four attempts. Iguodala hit the first one to put the Nuggets up but bricked the second “on purpose” and the clock expired for Denver’s fourth straight dub. Danilo Gallinari scored a game-high 27, Ty Lawson scored 18 points, dropped 7 dimes and notched 5 steals and Corey Brewer scored 16 off the bench. Lance Stephenson scored 20 and grabbed 8 rebounds.

Rockets 125 (25-22), Jazz 80 (24-21)

The Rockets beat down on Utah last night and handed the Jazz their worst home loss in franchise history. The Jazz played a horrible game and only scored 39 points in the first half as the Rockets’ fast paced offensive attack completely ran the home team off the floor. James Harden scored 25 points and Houston led by as many as 50(!) during the easy win. Chandler Parsons and Patrick Patterson each scored 12 points and Omer Asik finished with 19 boards.
