    interesting list.

  • BBaller

Bryant shouldn’t be ahead of Timmy. But he is. Kobe shouldn’t be on a losing team. But he is. SLAM get off Kobe’s D#@%

Looks like someone forgot about Wade. Dude just turned 31 a few days ago.

  • KingsAllDay

True, but he’s only played for 9 years. Gotta have 10+ years experience for this list.

    No Nash? Ridiculous.

  • heyheyhey

yea, i think everyone forgets that he’s pretty old too. people still think he’s young, kobe for example thinks hes ages younger than him, but thats just because dwayne wade went to college and kobe came out of highschool…

  • LakeShow

I was surprised to not see him on here… He should be 2nd or 3rd.
I can’t believe Tyson Chandler is 30… Wow. He is averaging the fewest blocks of his career this year also.

  • The Man

Tim Duncan hasn’t won a title let alone been to the finals in 6 years stop it.

  • Max

Because that has anything to do with how they’re playing this season?

  • yourmomslover

How is Wade not on this list? Steve Nash??

    30 is hardly “Twilight”

This season, Kobe has improved in efficiency a lot and he’s balling out of his mind. The Lakers are doing badly, but I hardly think it is all on Kobe.

  • MasterSplinter

Duncan is world class, and is one best power forwards of all time. However, Kobe is one of the best shooting guards of all time. In my personal opinion, they are on the same level at their respective position, however as a champion, you have to give the edge to Kobe…. 1 more title (as of now)…. 81 points, more 1st-team all defensive teams… Still, those are the only two PROVEN ones you shouldn’t compare still playing. Lebron is the other you shouldn’t.

  • MasterSplinter

How do you figure, I’d take J. Kidd on the Lakers over Nash hands down right now. No team can ever win the championship with Nash as the front line on defense (point guard defender)… Also, you have to be in the league for 10 years and be 30. Read the rules. Nash doesn’t deserve that, no defense, 6 turnovers last game. I have a fantasy team with 3 point guards….S. Curry, K. Walker, B. Jennings. I take each one over Nash right now….and my dog is named Laker.

It would be hard for me to accurately explain just how much of a waste of height Tyson Chandler is. I played against him in high school (though he was a freshman), and have seen him no less than 20 times in the NBA. He is a good shot blocker and decent rebounder at best, but when you see him stand flat footed raise his arm and be like 6 inches from the rim, then consistently miss shots around the basket (or anywhere for that matter), you really see just how bad he is. Good guy, bad player – especially offensive.

    Boozer? Wow.

  • SirGrey

    No Joe Johnson ?

  • z

Most of Kobe’s All-Defensives were undeserved.

  • Lorne

If you’ve only seen him play 20 times in ten years then how is your opinion relevant? He averages over 11 rebs per game. That’s not a waste of height and that’s more that decent. He is the defensive anchor for the Knicks, and single-handedly transformed their defense. He’s top five in blocks per game. He may not be a great offensive player, but he leads the league in fg%, so what exactly is your basis for your comments? You complain about him constantly missing shots but he’s shooting 67% on the season. You don’t really watch basketball. You sound salty that he probably dominated your team in hs.

  • ab40

Three finals mvp’s to two. Not losing a finals series. No rape-gate.

  • BBaller

    Yes no Joe Johnson

  • Bored

how wrong was this guy on so many things!?!?! what the hell is he watching?

  • Bored

his offensive rating is 138. leading the L by 12 over CP3 . he also has led the L in offensive rating the last 3 seasons. so you are wrong. so very wrong.

  • SirGrey

    Yeah, I noticed.
Even AK-47, VC, Marion, Pau (barring situation) are honorable mentions. If you don’t think he should be ahead of them, don’t know what to tell you.

  • Lorne

Dude, I almost thought he was being sarcastic until I kept reading smh.

  • Bored

lol, and whats this sh*t about consistently missing around the basket? this this guy is trippin…

  • Bored

haha you are kidding right? its 2013 man not 2003

  • SirGrey

I’m not quite sure what this is rating though. If its career as a whole, then maybe you can argue about him and AK, which I’ll still give him the edge.
Joe wasn’t too good in 03, but you’re probably the exaggerating type. He’s still been playing decent ball this year and a bigger role than VC, AK, Marion.

  • SirGrey

Some may be more efficient (doubt VC is), but they play less, have different styles of game.
