Washington Wizards Owner Thinks John Wall Could Make Season Debut on Saturday

John Wall has been taking part in team practices for some time now, and according to his boss, the third-year point guard could be suiting up for the first time this season on Saturday. Per Ted Leonsis’ blog, where he gushed about the Wizards’last-second victory last night: “I am happy for our fans as they were treated to a very passionate and gutty performance by our team. It was also great to see so many fans in the stands on a Monday night – it isn’t lost on us that we have the worst record in the NBA at this time, so thank you so much for coming out to the game. The young players stepped up with Jan Vesely and Bradly Beal playing quite well – and with Beal hitting a 4-point play late in the game and then the game-winner basically at the buzzer for the win. […] We placed five players in double figures last night and it was a total team effort to beat a great team. We now have a few days off in a scheduling rarity. We play next on Saturday night at home and it is possible but not quite certain, for the first time all season, that we could dress all of our players. I don’t want to jinx it, but we are all hoping that is what we will see. Stay tuned.”
