The NBA Made Joakim Noah Change His Outfit (PHOTO)

Joakim Noah’s cardigan hoodie and skinny jeans were apparently in violation of the NBA’s dress code, and he was asked to change into a more League-approved outfit. Per ESPN: “Noah, who missed his third consecutive game because of plantar fasciitis in his right foot, was sitting on the bench wearing a grey sweater, a black blazer and jeans before being asked to change. After the Bulls’ 111-101 defeat, Noah said wasn’t quite sure what the league was upset about regarding his wardrobe. ‘I don’t even know really,’ Noah said. ‘They told me I wasn’t dressed appropriately so I changed.’ During the game Noah was taking taunts from fans in stride including one fan who barked out, ‘Hey Noah, nice skinny jeans!’ Noah responded by giving the fan a thumbs up. Noah admitted that it was the first time in a while he was dressed in that kind of attire. ‘That’s not really my style,’ he said.”

    If you’re not playing b/c of injury then you don’t dress up. It’s called class, dressing like a man your age and not your shoe size…you’ll learn that one day little boy. Plus it’s league policy thanks to Iverson and his do-rag wearing self on the bench.

    Not at all, I’m not a fan of nutcrushers at all. I didn’t know he was wearing those, because I was looking at the picture, not at the text.

    Lol the League is too concerned about how Old White Men feel too much, its the only reason he still the commissioner… always wining bout something, fights, attire, whose playing & who aint, etc etc… blackballed Iverson out the league because he Iverson demanded respect or else you got none… it aint Noah fault they grandkids got pushed out the league by more talent!… lol

    I think he still wears those blazers with the huge shoulder pads with those super baggy jeans. He may have been the greatest to ever play the game, but his fashion sense did not extend off the basketball court.
