DeMarcus Cousins Cussed Out a Kings TV Play-by-Play Man

The Sacramento Kings pulled a 116-101 upset against the visiting LA Clippers last night, and DeMarcus Cousins used the opportunity to fire back at a member of the media who has been critical of him. Per the SacBee and Grant Napear’s Twitter: “Cousins (left quad contusion) returned from a two-game absence. He had 17 points and led the Kings (24-44) with 11 rebounds. ‘I was a little winded, but the game got going (and) I was fine,’ Cousins said. Cousins had some choice words for Kings TV play-by-play man Grant Napear as he left the court while the telecast was still live. When asked if he wanted to comment on it, Cousins laughed. ‘No,’ Cousins said. ‘It’ll give him something to talk about tomorrow. Tune in.’ Napear hosts an afternoon sports talk radio show on the Kings’ flagship station, one in which Napear has been critical of Cousins. [...] ‘Not going to make a mountain out of a mole hill with Cousins tonight. I wasn’t bothered by it. I’m just glad he listens to my show! I hope.’”

first shawn elliot now this guy, media members watch out! he better not mess with Dominique though

no that’s exactly it, he better start messin with Nique, or someone else who will smack the taste out his mouth cuz that’s what his problem is….. he’s never been put in check and it’s why he continues to wild out like a testosterone ridden teenager…..
guys like this, I’ve known guys like this I’ve knocked out guys like this, that’s the only way they learn their lesson……

Cousins and Royce White are both in the running for biggest punks in the league, they both need to shut the F up and play the dam game!

And I saw this whole game in it’s entirety, I was wondering why at times he would turn to the table and seem to say something to somebody, there was a few times I saw him doing that…. and then after the game I saw him walk over to the table and say something to someone and then proceed to smack the table hard with his hand then walk away….
I had no idea what that was about, I assumed since it was a home game that he was talking to one of his friends saying something along the lines of “Good win, etc…..”

but now I know it was him talkin shlt to his own announcer, lol, whatta goof this guy….

I also saw him yank back Tyreke by his arm and tell him to “SHUUUUUT UUUUUUUUUUP” after a bad call was being argued by all of them, haha, he is entertaining I’ll give him that

so… reggie miller does this and he is rewarded with a determined persona.

and.. dcuz does this and he scolded.

did you just compare Reggie Miller to DeMarcus Cousins ? so similar actions done by different people make the two people exactly the same ? that what you’re saying ?

because I don’t know how to respond to that, sorry bro…….

Agree with you on Cousins, but Royce White actually has a real problem. Saying he should just “shut the F up and play the game” is ignorant unless you’re aware of what his issue is and the effect it has on him.

Dude just doesn’t get it. Needs a Kurt Thomas or someone like that to get him straight.

  • Steve

Cousins is undoubtedly one of the best centers I’ve ever seen, but with this kind of behavior? he needs to control his emotions more as a professional.

I’m not ignorant to his problem, I actually sided with him at first…. but he’s like one of those kids at the party who just keeps pushin n pushin…. at some point you need to understand where the lines are drawn and what you can and can’t have… you can’t be the fat kid at the birthday party with his hand on every piece of cake…..

Especially in his latest interview he did, he just comes off completely as if he wants absolutely everything on his terms and nothing is negotiable with him… lately he’s been trying to put himself in some kind of “Mental health crusader” light completely calling out the NBA and his team saying “Everyone wants me gone, from the commissioner to the Rockets”
He’s starting to sound like the crazy bum on the corner talking about the world ending….. thing is if they do want him gone, it’s because he hasn’t handled anything about this in a professional manner, he’s handled it about as well as a butthurt teenager

just watching the parade go by bro…

don’t step in the elephant poop along the way.

When Boogie helps his team win a playoff game or two, then he can flap his lips a bit. Until then, he’s just another dude acting like a dickhole.

  • roscoe

hard to argue with you… winning playoff games & series & chips is it.

    agreed.

  • MikeC.

The L is sorely lacking in good centers.
