LeBron James Called Fan Who Rushed the Court a ‘Brave Guy’

LeBron James didn’t seem particularly fazed when a young lunatic bum-rushed him on the court during a Miami Heat/Cleveland Cavaliers game on Wednesday night. In fact, King James patted dude on the head as security removed him from the court. Well, LeBron is now following him on Twitter and calling him “brave”. Hmm … : “@jamesblair06: @KingJames appreciate you showing love when I came on floor last night follow back homie!!!! #TeamLeBron ‘(Yesir! Brave guy)’”

That fan was just acting out was everyone was thinking. LeBron is an equally brave guy, acknowledging his game needed help by embracing “The LeBron Rules … Keys to Stopping LeBron James.” Since, he and the Heat have been unstoppable.

All this incident proves is how shitty NBA security really is.

I’m just amazed at how easily the kid got on the court and even more amazed at how long ittook someone to get him out of there. The uniformed security was just standing there watching him. Imagine if he was a real loon with a weapon, he could have easily hurt someone.

Now what would be awesome is if LeBron bought the guy a season’s worth of courtside tickets.

Shut your trap. It’s getting annoying.

The only sport where I would ever do something like this is the Lingerie Football League!

I don’t think it’s wise to call this guy brave. What if he was actually one of those post-decision haters from Cleveland and had a knife or intended to do harm? The security was terrible, they reacted late and slow. I’d be concerned actually, saying these guys are brave encourages them and if someone has other intentions it could be very dangerous.

The Shock Exchange delivered a document that changed the course of basketball history, and what thanks does he get? “Hate?” “Shut up Shock?” You oughta be ashamed of yourself.

And anyone who is still wack enough to actually get hit with a 2 piece from anyone and not immediately wrap them up and choke them to sleep is a bum. MWP swings on me…dude is going to sleep no doubt!

The greatest basketball magazine of all time has officially turned into TMZ. The “Skinny Jeanification” of the industry…

I might try that sometime. Gonna make me up a t-shirt that says ‘Ima queen that’s queer for the king!’ and see what that does.

Really? What are you, like 45? And in case you didn’t notice, this isn’t SLAM magazine. It’s a website. Go read the printed edition if you can’t stand the fact that Twitter is a real thing.

Aren’t some SLAM writers or editors past their 40′s. What are you, like, 13?
