Tony Parker Out 4 Weeks With Ankle Injury

According to the San Antonio Spurs, Tony Parker’s Grade 2 left ankle sprain will keep the star point guard off the court for approximately the next four weeks. Per the team website: “Spurs guard Tony Parker underwent an MRI examination this morning in San Antonio. The MRI confirmed that Parker has a Grade 2 left ankle sprain. He is expected to be out for approximately four weeks. The injury occurred in the third quarter of last night’s Spurs-Kings game.”

Lets see how they do without him. The Spurs can’t afford to lose too many games if they want homecourt

Lets go Patty Mills…. fell slightly out of rotation with Nando’s increasing presence and development… already if not within 2 years MILLS > Robinson, Lowry, Ridnour, Holiday, if not a stack of others..all he needs is some burn… good news though at least this injury didn’t happen in April or even later this month..

Holiday? Really? I mean surely u arent referring to Jrue.

This is a big big blow for the SPurs if they want to keep that top seed.

But we’ll have to see what magic Coach Pop can pull off this time, and also what exactly Ginobili still has in the tank.

if not now within 2 years where Jrue is today… Holiday better 1-1 defender right now, but Mills is the fastest or top 5 fastest in the league, so hell get there. He just needs consistent time (eg look what Holiday has done with the bigger role).. last year when pop was restin the big 3 and Mills was getting playing time, he balled out.

Im Australian and Patty’s Indigenous Australian so Im bias as, behind him and really want to see him do well. Mills is talented

I’ve always thought of all the real contenders in both conferences, even given Parker’s MVP-like season, Spurs were always in the best position to deal with an injury. If OKC lost 1 of their big 2, or even Ibaka, they would be done. If Lebron or Wade went down, they would really struggle. If Randolph or Gasol go down they would be done. LAC without CP3 were average…. Spurs 3rd UNIT > majority of the leagues starting 5.

    Just stop boss

If the Heat lost Lebron they’d be done, but we’ve seen last season that without D Wade they actually still play really well.

    But…But… Jrue’s an all star…

No way is he better right now than Holiday or Ridnour

He is also much better than Patty Mills has ever been at anything

I said in 2 years. Patty Mills is under the radar, playing on an under the radar team.

Here’s hoping he gets some minutes and makes the most of them. Those last couple games of last season were crazy.
