George Hill to Miss Game 5 With Concussion

Indiana Pacers guard George Hill will sit out tonight’s pivotal Game 5 against the New York Knicks due to a concussion. Tough break for Indy as they look to close out New York. Per the Pacers’ Twitter feed: “Pacers guard @George_Hill3 will miss tonight’s game at New York due to a concussion sustained in Game 4.”

nah man. that is horrible and i hope he will be fine soon… even though i am aware that hill wouldve made that win tonight something between much harder and impossible

    obviously lol

I don’t mean y’all should be happy he’s hurt. But that he wasn’t playing. That game was a confidence boost as much as anything.

my bad, got you wrong then. and yeah, sure thing that was a confidence boost. am just afraid that this will only carry on as long as hill is out, coz when he is on court, felton cant run the offense the way he did today.
so yes, kind of “fortunate” for the team and us knicks fans. on the other hand u would prefer to see your team win against an opponent at full strenght to know it was a huge performance.

Yeah no doubt. I meant nothing major by it. I just think this George Hill issue opens the door for NYK to make the comeback.

i hope so but i would need to see a win in indy to be able to believe there is still a realistic chance.
in case of a light concussion, hill has to rest something between 3-7 days. heavier concussions take 10-25 days to recover. i think the knicks chances to advance to the conf. finals depend as much on their own health and confidence as it depends on the pacers inexperience (i dont know if they are really intimidated now by that knicks win but that team is so tough that i doubt it) and hills return (or absense).

Frank Vogel claimed otherwise but they misses him a lot IMO. First off with the starting unit, but just as much because making Augustin a starter turns their already thin bench to nothing. Knicks have good shot in gm 6 too if Hill is still out.

google translation: Oh noooo! Very bad .. I hope he recovers soon … No problem ::: Pacers can win. Go boys!

This is like the 12th notable injury this season to a team’s star player…..

Has there been any other POs so far when so many star players have missed crucial games for their teams?
