The NBA released the media’s selections for the ’12-13 All-NBA teams, and to the surprise of no one, LeBron James was the only player to earn all 119 first place votes. After a stellar year that saw James earn his fourth MVP in five years, the unanimous selection was well deserved.

Tony Parker outplayed CP this season, and he should be 1st team instead.
    Congrats Kobe.
    No Steph Curry?
    Dwight 3rd team???

  • Max

    So: Rondo got a vote?
    Vucevic?
    JJ freakin Hickson? lol
    Rudy Gay?
    Asik?

  • ernie.g

Westbrook over Curry?! I gotta stop smoking-

  • LP @ThisisEther

    yes. westbrook over curry.

  • http://twitter.com/apowellAdvocate Allen Powell II

David Lee over Brook Lopez and Joakim Noah is a joke. It doesn’t even merit a legit comment.

  • melvo

    Blake Griffin…hell naw.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

by no measure anywhere in the world of basketball was Parker better than Paul.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Blake Griffin getting second team, and Al Horford getting no love at all bothers me just as much. If not more.
    .
Al Horford, Brook Lopez, Joakim Noah, Chris Bosh, Lamarcus Aldridge were all better than both Lee and Griffin.

  • http://twitter.com/stepfdelaghetto Stepfan Raiford

Blake Griffin ALL NBA SECOND TEAM? I just don’t get it.

  • spit hot fiyah

i think that is due to position. lee = forward. noah and lopez = centers

  • playa

Hmm Kobe on the 1 team, D-Wade&Harden on the 3 rd, lets see:

    - media blind love for the lakers

    - they are especially HUGE kobe slurpers , i bet they dont even know what PER is

david stern using his powers to ensure status quo in league hierarchy doing favor to his beloved yet fading, fake star known as Kobe Bryant

we all know this is a career achievement kobe doesnt deserve nothing this year, he only wins 45 games with probably THE BEST ROSTER EVER

he is a team cancer , makes everyone around him much worse ,as evidenced by the beautiful chemistry lakers had on both ends of the floor without him and the success they had WITHOUT him

his efficiency is laughable and not in Wade nor Harden stratosphere + his defense is non existent since probably 1 st or 2 nd class of high school

he rode someones cottails his whole career, hes nothing but a glorified ricky davis, most selfish person who ever lived

his awful human being, and when he dies he will go straight to the deepest abyss of hell and rightfully so mind you , all his pathetic fans aka kobe apologists will be thrown there with him for their cardinal sin

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Should have gone like this, imo.
    .
1st Team: Paul, Westbrook, Durant, James, Gasol
2nd Team: Parker, Bryant, Melo, Horford, Duncan
3rd Team: Harden, Wade, George, Noah, Lopez

  • Junior Taylor

Gasol should have made it over TD on the 1st Team
Harden should have made it over TP on the 2nd Team
Lopez should have made it over Howard on the 3rd Team
Griffin doesn’t deserve to be on any of the Teams…he has regressed the past 2 seasons

  • jake

i’d take joakim noah over dwight howard right now, no question. he’s the only guy that got robbed.

  • bike

Wow, Duncan first team? Love the guy but that seems a little wack.

  • http://twitter.com/stepfdelaghetto Stepfan Raiford

    NBA Politics

  • underdog

    Except leadership and scoring.

  • ChosenOne

I’m not in the mood today for arguing, I was just stating my opinion. I like CP, he’s a great player, but this season, Parker was at an MVP level. Had more wins as well.

I’m cool anyway. Just would have been nice to see Parker there, but can’ complain with second team at all

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Leadership? Chris Paul was basically his teams coach.
    .
And Chris Paul produced more actual points when you factor in passing. And per minute, more than anyone in the league.
    .
Oh and Chris Paul was the second best defensive starting PG in the league.

  • ScrewT

The success they had of getting swept in the first round in a laughable series? He carried them this season because no one else bothered to try/show up/were injured.

  • http://www.facebook.com/saul.reyes.581 Saul Reyes

lol @ JJ Hickson getting a vote

  • playa

Are you from Kobe camp? Does he paid you for your post?

  • LakeShow

    Two sides to the court.

  • LakeShow

Holy f*ck… this a bunch of cockamamey bull sh*t here.

Lemme know if you want me to tear apart this spiel.

  • LakeShow

This isn’t the playoffs, this is the regular season award…

  • Clos1881

I like Marc gasol but he’s overrated at this point

  • bike

    So…you don’t like Kobe???

  • ChosenOne

Parker has improved exceptionally on the defensive end. Just saying…

I’m telling y’all, TP and CP are neck and neck. It’s just that Parker was better this year, and showed that in February where he shined brighter in their matchup.

    Two unbelievable Point Guards anyway.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

It’s not that Parker is a bad defender, it’s that he doesn’t have that much defensive responsibility. And he definitely isn’t as good as Paul.
    .
He also doesn’t lead the defense. It’s not like the Clippers where Chris Paul is the leader in every way shape and form. Parker only leads the offense, and keeps everyone up beat. Other than that, the team is Gregg Popovich & Tim Duncan’s..

  • ChosenOne

This has to be up there as one of the worst comments ever..

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk
  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Paul was at a much higher level all season.
    .
Parker wasn’t even the best player on his team. The difference in the Spurs and Clippers is HUGE. and it has nothing to do with Parker and Paul.

  • LakeShow

You can make an argument for sure.
I actually would even side with you if I didn’t know CP was just a much better all around player.
You’ve got points though as far as this past season goes.

  • LakeShow

  • Ugh

Just dance for a while instead.

  • http://www.rich-imaging.com/ Dutch Rich

That looks good. We are talking Marc right, on first team?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    of course.

    - Pau was a PooPoo Platter.

    - Marc was a PuPu Platter

    big difference

  • LP @ThisisEther

how long have they been “neck and neck”? explain more… i’d like to hear…

  • LP @ThisisEther

im a bulls fan, and i can’t say i would take noah over dwight…..

  • http://twitter.com/conorklnohara Conor O’Hara

    Agreed.

I would have chosen Noah instead of Lopez to replace Howard, but either selection would have been better than the latter.

Both Griffin and Lee are undeserving members.

  • http://twitter.com/conorklnohara Conor O’Hara

This year, as a Lakers fan, it would have been the right decision. Based on merit.

  • LP @ThisisEther

well yea, this year…not over time tho

  • Max

Do it, holy cow he is dumb.

  • http://www.rich-imaging.com/ Dutch Rich

    Yeah big difference!
Glad you recognized Brook for the year he had. If only we can get him to stop high fiving his teammates after good plays and tapping his chest after a fu¢k up. After every possession he literally takes himself out of the game for like 3 to 5 seconds. Other than that our favorite goofball had himself a heck of a season.

  • http://www.rich-imaging.com/ Dutch Rich

Stay away from anonymous court jesters.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

man i noticed that last year (2 seasons ago) when i went to the NJ/PHX game in PHX. idk if you read the post up that day, but i wrote a big long complaint about Brook because everytime he messed up he became useless for a period, while every time Robin messed up he went at Brook even harder the next possession.
    .
That was also the only time I have ever thought, even for a second (which it was more like 3 hours), that Robin Lopez had a chance to be as good or better than his brother.
    .

  • Rayt

Cp Is not better than tony Parker. How many times does tony have to prove it. Here are the reasons tony is better. 3 rings to cps 0. Finals MVP and best player on the floor even with lebron in 2007. And finally walked all over cp3 and the clippers in a sweep in last years playoffs.

  • LakeShow

    Where do you rate him?

  • Rayt

What’s so whack about it. Your mama is whack

  • http://www.rich-imaging.com/ Dutch Rich

I don’t recall your post. But I see excactly what you are talking about though and often make that same complaint to people I know. I do think that Robins reckless abandon makes him very unpredictable whereas Brooks meditated approach is what made him the favorite. Brook also looks a lot stronger this season. Despite their differences they both could learn to keep their focus a bit more.

  • http://twitter.com/conorklnohara Conor O’Hara

Yes, as these All-NBA lists are for ’12-’13.

Howard, next season, will be back to form.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

oh Brook is already far better than Robin will ever be. Robin just looked better on that day. Brook was the 3rd best Center in the league this year. I expect him to keep improving, especially if they get a real offensive system in Brooklyn at some point. So far, there hasn’t been a team i’ve loathed watching much more.

  • http://www.rich-imaging.com/ Dutch Rich

yeah they looked horrible at times, especially in that stint leading up the coach Johnson getting the boot and going further with DWill’s injury. Who could provide that system though is the big question. Maybe they should give Brian Shaw a look.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Brian Shaw would be where I would go. Actually I would go after Stan Van Gundy, and then after Brian Shaw. Jeff Hornacek is an intriguing name, but within the last 2 hours it has turned to sound like he is Ryan McDonough’s favorite out here in Phoenix.

  • Ganchan

I still like Duncan over Gasol, but very little separating them. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Noah, Lopez both play C so you gotta go with Chris Bosh or Zach Randolf at PF and Lopez at C. Respect to Noah though cause he works his ass off.

  • davidR

everyone knows leading the league in double doubles has to mean something!

nah, i’m with you. i feel both brook and noah should’ve made it over dwight and lee

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Duncan was the better player i agree….but do you want to see what separates them?

    - 718 minutes, (AKA, 15 entire games – 385 of those minutes from Duncan sitting).
    .

That’s how many more minutes Marc Gasol played than Tim Duncan.

  • davidR

i’m not sure positions matter that much. 2nd team has 2 point guards. 3rd team has none

  • LakeShow

I still think he is a pretty lousy defender. Especially given his quickness.
Sure he can stay in front of a guy for the most part, but he does nothing to deter a player getting a shot off… generally speaking.

Paul is twice the defender that TP is in my book.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    It goes like this,
    .
    G-G-F-F-C
    .
    i just don’t give a damn.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Well no, Parker isn’t great or anything. He’s probably average, slightly above because of his teammates.

  • Ganchan

Fair point, that’s a glaring difference in minutes. No doubt TD is the man but being on the floor counts.

  • playa
  • playa
  • The Seed

Steph Curry had a better regular season than Dwayne Wade.

  • RKJ92

    I’m sorry but no.

Chris Paul changed the Clippers on his arrival from a 30 win team to almost 60 wins.. secondly Tony Parker cannot control a game the way Chris Paul can on both sides of the floor, not to mention being one of the greatest leaders in the game today.
To add Chris Paul didn’t get outplayed.. that’s something someone with no knowledge of the game itself would say because it’s such a blatently non-thought out thing to assume; Chris Paul’s team failed HIM.
Any analyst would tell you that Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Jamaal Crawford either didn’t A) command enough attention for Chris Paul to take over the games the way a Tim Duncan, or one of San Antonio’s great 3 point shooters like your, Kawhai Leonard’s, Danny Green, Matt Bonner.. Clipper’s simply had nobody to help Chris Paul either get easy baskets for himself, or even distribute the ball to the best of his abilities.

This in turn creates a clusterf*cked offense that not even “great players” can come back from *see OKC this playoffs after Westbrook got injured* so no, Tony Parker is not better and your ring argument is beyond stupid.. we are talking about individual talent, and what a player can add to his team to make it better and last time I checked Chris Paul was the best PG in basketball today.

Ask yourself this.. if your starting a franchise who do you take.. Chris Paul, or Tony Parker. I’m sure most people don’t have to give it a hard thought to choose the obvious answer.

  • RKJ92

love it! It’s a shame Paul George couldn’t sneak into that 2nd team, but the compiled lists are great no argument! (Y)

  • LakeShow

As much as I don’t like D-Lee on the ALL-NBA squad, he did have a very nice year.

    19-11-4-1 on 52%

He just doesn’t play defense, so it’s a bad choice.

  • Mariano

Despite the fact that Timmy averaged more points, rebounds, blocks with a better FG% than Marc? Marc’s great, I really do like him, but Timmy was just as great. I think they are both very deserving of the spot, but Timmy edges him out just a little bit.

i like your list especially since you didn’t include hyped players that do not deserve it (Howard/Griffin) except I would:
    1. switch Bryant for Wade
    2. switch Horford for Noah

It seems like the players on teams that get the most TV time get automatic votes for all-nba selection. can you imagine if horford was on the clippers over griffin??

  • robb

except leadership??? lol wtf are you talking about??

  • robb

    are you Smush Parker???

  • Bandwagonfan

Again steph curry getting none.does he need to score 100 every game to get acknowledged?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

my issue with Bryant over Wade is LeBron James and Minutes. Kobe Bryant had such a much more difficult situation. And he had to do SOOO much for that team offensively. Other than that, I pretty much agree that Wade was actually a better overall player.

    .

Nah, check out Horford’s season. Seriously, if Gasol wasn’t as good defensively as he was, I would have had Horford on the 1st team.

  • anonymous

Favorite Horford moment after he hit that shot on Pierce in the playoffs (best nba player with no muscle) and got in his face.

Kobe really gave everything this yr and no question killed, but I just don’t know if we would be arguing this if the heat had 70+ wins and wade (13) and bron (6) didn’t miss or sit those games. If the heat managed to challenge the best record ever, then heat having two 1st team selections wouldn’t be a surprise but because they fell short at 66 wins….seems like some aren’t willing to contemplate wade challenging kobe for 1st team as a possibility. Not gonna argue with you on Horford especially since i thought no one else would have even considered him. I think he can be fairly placed at either level. I’d take him before griffin tho no question.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    appreciate it man

  • i_ball

I can agree with your teams but I will still have Steph Curry over Wade.

You can make a strong argument that they got the first team right – Duncan/Gasol and Kobe/Westbrookis a borderline decision. You can’t go wrong with picking either. Here are my picks:

    1. Paul, Westbrook, LeBron, Durant, Duncan

    2. Parker, Kobe, Melo, Horford, Gasol

3, Harden, Curry (maybe I am too influenced by the playoffs), George, Noah, Lopez

At first I had Zbo instead of Noah, because I thought Noah should be a 5. 3 Grizzlies is far to much and Noah deserves it more…

  • Drig

Kobe and CP3 on 1st team. TP and RW on 2nd team. Got that right :D .

However, the inclusion of Blake Griffin bothers me. Horford, Lopez, Noah, George all had better seasons IMO.

I know only Horford plays the same position as Noah but IMO, this shouldn’t be about position. Frontcourt players, backcourt players and done.

  • theDankerNuggets

i’d take Z-BO, David West, David Lee, Lamarcus Aldridge, Chris Bosh, Noah and Ibaka over Griffin at power forward, when it comes down to it there are a lot of players that can contribute more consistently than Blake, he didn’t much of anything as Paul’s number 2 in that Memphis series. But. I am not surprised the media would put him so high

  • RKJ92

    No problem!

  • zogs19994

    CHRIS BOSH??

    EER…YOU DON’T MEAN THAT….

  • roscoe

the playoffs are on now… what happened?

  • Sergio

    Ibaka? Please…

  • SirGrey

Who the hell gave Tyson a first place vote. That’s the sh*t I DON’T LIKE !

  • Armando

Really I’m fine with this. Ideally I’d swap Parker for Kobe and Lee for Griffin, but other than that the only two outside these 15 deserving consideration are Lopez and Curry.

  • Zabbah

You must be biased or something because Parker’s one of the greatest pgs ever.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Are you being sarcastic or reading my comments out of context?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Tomorrow when I have a computer I’ll post Horford’s February. If LeBron wasn’t having the best month in basketball history, he would have garnered a ton of attention.
    .
I’m not really arguing wade – kobe. Over the last 3 weeks my all NBA teams featured each guy from 1st team to 3rd. I just set some ground rules and Bryant’s role in LA just felt more important to me.

  • FLIGHT 9

HARDEN SHOULD BE IN THE 2ND TEAM

  • i_ball

man, i am a knicks fanatic and even i am shaking my head over that bullsh*t. the voters should have to undergo drug tests b4 they vote

  • danpowers

i actually expected you to see george as a 2nd teamer.

and the lack of appreciation / respect of horfords game is a riddle to me. i wonder how a player soo crafty and good can be so underrated for so long. its not that this was his first good season under the radar.

  • Kadavour

Blake Griffin cannot create his own offense consistently enough to warrant place on these teams. He’s very bad at creating his own offense to be honest.

  • Kadavour

who was better than Tony on the Spurs this season?

  • Kadavour

how do his teammates make him a better defender?

  • TR

It’s weird, everyone kept talking about how Griffin was getting better early in the season, but now it seems as if he’s regressed considerably from what I saw in the playoffs

  • Kadavour

Eric Bledsoe is a better defender than Chris Paul. Granted he knows the other team’s offensive tendencies well and his ball IQ is through the roof and that makes him an exceptional help defender, but he doesn’t have the defensive instincts that Bledsoe has and he can’t defend bigger guards. Paul is above average, but generally overrated as a defender.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

“Chris Paul was the second best defensive *STARTING* PG in the league.”

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

how do Tony Parker’s teammates make him a better defender? Really?
    - How is having Tim Duncan at the hoop a helpful aspect to Tony Parker’s defense?
    - How is having Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard to guard the other teams PG when necessary, enabling Parker to guard a shooter helpful to his defense?
    - How is having Tiago Splitter hedging on PnR’s helpful to Tony Parker’s defense?
    .
I’m not really sure. Maybe it’s just having the best coach in the league creating your defensive system………
    .
    Or maybe I’m crazy.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    Tim Duncan.

  • Clos1881

Dwight Howard is by far the best center everything else is solid Marc is skilled but it doesn’t translate when you look at his numbers and impact on the game he’ll have like 14 or 15 and 8

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk
  • http://twitter.com/apowellAdvocate Allen Powell II

Yeah, Ibaka is WAY worse than Griffin at shot creation, but better at rim protection. I’d rather have Griffin. And I think Griffin is better than David Lee too.

  • http://twitter.com/apowellAdvocate Allen Powell II

I would have Horford third team. I think he benefits from playing out of position too much. And if he played his natural position, he’d be far less effective. LIke Amare.

  • http://twitter.com/apowellAdvocate Allen Powell II

Saying he doesn’t play defense is like saying Kobe doesn’t pass in the clutch. It totally, TOTALLY understates what’s really happening.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Who had a better season that you would consider a Forward? You think Noah had a better year? Not arguing, just asking.

  • http://twitter.com/apowellAdvocate Allen Powell II

When you say “better” do you just mean stats? I feel like Horford’s numbers are nice. But, I feel like whenever I watch him play I wouldn’t want him as the second-best player on my team and definitely not the best player. I don’t like how he gets his buckets, but that’s a stylistic thing. And I feel like against power forwards, where he can’t use his natural quickness, he becomes somewhat neutralized.

I mean better…..Performance + Production + Whatever Variables you deem most important.

I watched Horford rather closely this year, because I wasn’t sold on him as a defensive player. Turns out, I agree with you. Even though he physically seems like a natural 4, his advantages are much less pronounced playing that position. And with his strength defensively in the modern NBA, he is actually a better defender against Centers. Not that he is bad against 4′s, he just isn’t that good, while defensively at Center he’s one of the better guys in the league.

    .

I judged my All-NBA teams on – Production/Role/Team Situation. And I just couldn’t ignore what Horford was doing as his teams only isolation option, while doubling as it’s fix all big man option.

. Also, Over the last 2 months of the season Horford averaged

    - 19.3 Points

    - 10.8 Rebounds

    - 3.0 Assists

    - 1.4 Steals

    - 1.3 Blocks

    - And he shot 55% from the field.

    - There is not a player outside of LeBron or Durant who put up any numbers close to that.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jay.brodes Jay Brodes

how did mamba get only 521 votes..what were writers watching all year! he carried the lakers by himself!!! damn!

  • LakeShow

Get outta here, I said he doesn’t play defense and you want me to go harder at him lol…

  • LakeShow

LeBron deserved more votes, Durant deserved more votes, Paul was about equal. KB deserved more over Duncan and got them.
So at worse they voted for 1 person more than KB than they should have.
    They got it right.

  • LakeShow

    So you like BIG numbers?

It’s not always about the numbers man. Gasol and Dwight had very comparable years. Marc is just an up and comer so he is getting pub.

  • Clos1881

It’s not just about the numbers. Defensive MVP ? You serious lebron should have won that I don’t think gasol should have been top 5 in that voting Dwight on limited attempts off back surgery out performed him dwight gets criticized for those numbers he is praised for Marc is good would love him on my team but he is in the class with Noah Lopez and guys like that all Jefferson is more skilled than all of them 2nd tier centers the most talent at the position is cousins but his mind is holding him back

  • LakeShow

No offense man, but I can’t take you seriously.
I can immediately name 10 better defenders than LeBron this year.
    Gasol is one of them.
If you can’t see the nuances I can’t help you.
LeBron is a very good defender, but DPOTY?? HELLLLL NO!

  • Marcos Garcia

    wow

  • theDankerNuggets

yeah c’mon you may love to hate Bosh but you know he’s much more versatile and consistent on offense and better post defender

  • theDankerNuggets

yeah Ibaka is super limited on offense but he is a dominant presence on defense that’s more than you can say about Griffin anywhere on the court except fast breaks. David Lee is more consistent of a scorer and rebounder

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

    They did.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

    Parker over Kobe lmfao.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

No. CP3 is the best PG in the league.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

    Ditto.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

I think he has the talent. But he obviously doesn’t apply it enough to be considered.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

Dwight. Meh. He grabs tons of defensive boards and got a lot of easy buckets playing with Pau, Kobe, Nash. This year TD > Dwight.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

Did you watch the Lakers this year? Pride, fight, grit, these things do not show on the paper. Dwight may rack up the stats, but his attitude his awful and contagious. No heart.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

Sorry bro, but they got it right, not you. Speaking only for the ALL-NBA 1st team.

  • LakeShow

    Agreed.
    He shouldn’t though.
It would take away from his offense, and wear him out.

  • ScrewT

No, sorry. I’m a Rockets fan.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Lol ok buddy. You showed me.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

You’re entitled to your opinion. But the L and myself know the truth.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

Gasol has lower numbers ’cause Dwight eats up all the defensive boards and puts himself in bad defensive position going for every block. I honestly believe his attitude and unwillingness to do whats best for the team should count against him.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

You sure are entitled to your opinion of what constitutes a truth as well.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

The truth is that Kobe > Westbrook.

  • RKJ92

    Ty Montreal,

    Sincerely, Toronto.

  • Drig

    LOL…….

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

The truth is, that’s your opinion.

  • Clos1881

Smh he barley touched the ball no easy buckets for him in dantoni’s system ie the reason Phil laughed when he was hired

  • Clos1881

You really can’t name 10 defenders better he can check 1-4 gasol is a solid position defender he’s not a great rebounder shot blocker and he really doesn’t have to defend his position because it is so weak to the point where you don’t even have all stars at the position he’s a skilled Kendrick Perkins on the defensive end

  • Bored

its to sad to see that CP3 is so underrated on this forum.

  • Joshua Maria Peter Bautista

He did get 72 votes(although none first team) which is respectable considering the number of MVP level guards in the NBA. David Lee had 79 and he made the third team, which means he’s recognized but really just overshadowed.

  • http://www.facebook.com/evan.boland Evan Boland

.. Almost all his buckets were easy buckets. I watched 80/82 Laker games.

  • Jerome

It’s ok that Parker gets so few votes … he will be adding a 2013 ‘chip shortly.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

    Top 5 SLAMonline .gifs ever.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

How did Paul George make All-NBA Third Team? He’s playing great basketball right now but his season was NOT that amazing. I have a feeling he’ll be a perennial all-NBA player from here on out, and deservedly so… just not this season.

  • Guitoz

CP3 overrated again, Parker should be in the 1rst team.
To me CP3 never proved he’s the best PG in the league. He’s probably the most spectacular and skilled PG, but TP is a proven winner, and that makes all the difference. And it’s actually harder to have good stats playing for the team-first Spurs.
    + Noah got robbed.

  • Damien Riordan

Steph Curry is racking up 3′s at an amazing rate in his career so far. He is on target to make Ray & Reggie look like absolute amateurs from beyond the arc.

  • Damien Riordan

I can’t believe Steph Curry hasn’t made any of the teams – for anyone who doesn’t know, Steph broke Ray’s record for most 3PT FG’s made in a season this year. 272 made – he shot 45.3% from beyond the arc. When Ray got his record he shot 41.2%. Seriously – this guy is on track to shatter the record book! An absolutely amazing year.

  • GSW Fan

    real talk

  • Max

09 CP3 was the best in the L.

  • Guitoz

Anyone still thinking TP is not underrated ? :) Only titles talk

  • LakeShow

Who? Where is this coming from… Wrong message board?
