Roy Hibbert Says Shane Battier Kneed Him in the Groin on Purpose

Shane Battier was whistled for an offensive foul after delivering a flying knee to Roy Hibbert’s groin area in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Hibbert thought the act was intentional. Per the big fella’s Twitter: “U can knee or kick me every time u drive 2the rim. Ill be there 2protect the rim. That wasn’t inadvertent. Battier knew what he was doing.”

Roy Hibbert should slap the $*** out of him.

I can’t stand Battier. I wouldn’t call him a dirty player, but he gets in his fair share of cheap shots. He’s also a habitual flopper and I think he’s overrated defensively.

lool hater. his D took a small step back but he is 34 years old. He battled popcorn muscles(boozer) last series and David West in this one. this is the man who makes small ball possible for the heat so show some respect

yeah and the Heat almost lost because West was cooking him. lol. he gets kudos because hes mastered jumping in front of that charge/block line and his silly face palm that he does to jump shooters, but he’s never impressed me.

Cheap shots? You’re mistaken sir. They’re called “veteran moves”. What bs.
