Cavs Reportedly Offering Celtics Two Second Round Draft Picks For Paul Pierce

The Doc Rivers/Kevin Garnett trade to the Clippers may be dead, but we still know this: The Celtics are open to making moves this summer. The latest rumor, courtesy of the News-Herald, is that the Cavs have approached the Celts about putting together a package of picks in exchange for Paul Pierce: “The Cavs have likely spoken to the Celtics about small forward Paul Pierce’s availability. The latest rumor is the Cavs offering their two second-round picks for the 35-year-old Pierce. Pierce’s $15.3 million contract for next year would become guaranteed if he’s dealt.”
