Charlotte Bobcats Fans Boo Draft of Cody Zeller With Fourth Pick (VIDEO)

The world was shocked to learn that the Charlotte Bobcats actually have fans. Not only that, but these folks gathered last night, and had their hearts broken when the eternally bumbling franchise picked Cody Zeller with the fourth pick in the NBA Draft with players like Ben McLemore, Alex Len and Nerlens Noel still available.

Yea… like Lebron said, teams were sleeping on Ben McLemore…

after watching i think they might actually deserve to suck every year

Completely understandable. Another bad decision by Jordan.

We never get the pick we need but this was a good pick it gives us a solid big around the basket and guarantees we’ll be bad enough to get Parker or wiggins and I’m probably in the minority thinking Parker is the better player.

I’m not sure if it’s true but I think rumors said it was Rich Cho who was pushing hard for Cody Zeller.

I have no idea what kind of a player Zeller will be. He’s athletic and agile for a big, but isn’t very big or strong. A bad pick given the talent available, but possibly a good player, we’ll see…

Poor big fella. First he gets drafted by the Bobcats, then he gets this warm welcome.

I doubt he wanted to be there anymore than they wanted him to be there.

It’s almost completely certain that Jordan had ‘nothing’ to do with.

He has stated publicly (after much criticism) that personnel decisions will be entirely up to Cho.

  • RayJr

He peaked in college just like the other Zeller brothers.

If you assume the combine means anything, it’s a good pick. That’s where his stock jumped. Based upon his play this past season, it’s a terrible pick. He showed no improvement over his freshman year and looked as soft as Charmin at times.

It all depends on what you want. Offensively Parker may be more polished he reminds me of a bigger Melo with a nice wingspan meaning his defensive potential is better. His motor seems questionable to me and appears to be a tweener due to his modest athleticism but that can be improved on once he gets back into shape.

Wiggins is a more dynamic and explosive guy who can play the two and three spot. His offense is raw but his motor on that side of the ball is great I believe he is one of the few players who could come in the league as a wing player and average 20+ points with out a great jump shot. His ceiling is galactic though areas like his ball handling and passing are impressive im not saying he could run point but he can lead a break with ease. Better defender than Parker in tape because he makes more effort but he still does not fully commit

If that’s true, as owner, Jordan could have and should have made the final decision.

  • OfftheWall87

That’s great as long as the best decisions are being made, but he should have stepped up and made the decision especially when McLemore was there for them to take.

I agree with the melo comparisons and Jabari Parker is a excellent athlete you can watch his YouTube work from just his senior season in every aspect on offense I feel Jabari is better at this point I just see wiggins a elite athlete you hope develops the skills I think he will be great though.

Yeah I totally get you on that usually the players with the highest ceiling have the farthest to fall.

  • grgeblck

    Ouch for Cody Zeller.

  • danpowers

Brook Lopez or Rudy gay, mkg should have been Harrison Barnes and we will hopefully get Parker but I see where you were going.
