Chris Bosh Apologized to His Teammates Prior to Game 7

Miami Heat big man Chris Bosh has struggled mightily throughout the Eastern Conference Finals, and he blames it on changing his game. After apologizing to his Miami Heat teammates for his poor performances to date, Bosh says he plans to go back to his old, aggressive style of play tonight in Game 7. Per the Indy Star: “Bosh is averaging 11.3 points per game this series but has failed to reach double digits in the last three games. He has just 22 rebounds in six games. ‘I changed my game (for) Games 1-6 and it hasn’t really worked,’ Bosh said, citing a lack of aggression. ‘Tonight, I’m going to do what I do, let it all hang out.’ [...] ‘This is what we work hard for all season, a Game 7 on our home court,’ Bosh said. ‘We’re not going to sit around, wishing we weren’t in this position. It happens. We embrace it. We’re confident, but we know we have to beat a very good basketball team.’ Bosh and teammate Dwyane Wade both expressed frustration in their play and their roles in the offense following the Pacers’ 91-77 victory in Game 6 on Saturday. By virtue of a stout Pacers defense and nagging injuries, neither Bosh nor Wade has been at their best in this series. It was LeBron James, following Game 6, who said: ‘I mean, we can state the obvious. They’re both struggling.’ Bosh and Wade are down 11 points in scoring average from last year’s postseason. It has been the LeBron Show all series, and his individual playoff average (25.8 ppg) is nearly identical to what Wade and Bosh are scoring combined (26.1). The Heat are hoping that is not the case for Game 7. ‘We can’t just sit around and expect LeBron to do all the work and hope he has a 50-point game,’ Bosh said. ‘It doesn’t work like that. We have to do our part.’”

just take advantage of your speed and quickness against Hibbert. Stop apologizing.

Bosh: ‘Tonight, I’m gonna do what I do , let it all hang out’.

    Hibbert: ‘ No Homo’

  • Fat Lever

I thought he was going to give a shout out to ADOR for that line.

  • MUBWAR

at least bosh knows his shortcomings in this series and takes the blame. Wade is blaming the mvp smh

  • spit hot fiyah

will he apologize after game 7?

Bosh has to make up for his lack of rebounding tonight. If he gets double digit boards and 5 points, it will be more forgivable than a 15 point 3 board night.

Breaking News! Roy Hibbert has asked the Heat fans to blame him for Bosh’s poor performance.

He should have simply stated ‘N_ Homo Motherfuck*rs’ instead.

For real. I haven’t understood why he hasn’t tried to do this all series.

well his Ankle is messed up. He wouldn’t be playing if this were the regular season. But still, deal with it.

Bosh really needs to show some pride and plant his butt in the post instead of taking 3 pointers because he’s too scared of Roy Hibbert and David West.

  • BugEyes

bosh is quicker than Roy but I think hibberts greatest talent on defense is staying on ground and not biting on the pump, so bosh can’t score in the post without someone falling for his incredible shot fakes

  • LP @ThisisEther

he’s gonna try to ramp his intensity up tonight and hurt himself….happens all the time…

  • Dev

I hope he show up in the Finals

  • Shooting Guard

you almost cost us the series man get it together
