LeBron James Says Danny Green Didn’t Party With Heat After Game 7

San Antonio Spurs sharpshooter Danny Green was spotted congratulating LeBron James in a Miami nightclub mere hours after the Miami Heat won the title. Green was attacked by fans online for being there during the wild celebration, but LBJ came to the defense of his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate on Twitter: “Danny Green did not party with us on Thursday night. He came to say congrats and I told him how proud of him I was for taking full advantage of the opportunity he was giving and keep going. We dapped up, showed love and he left. #StopBelievingAllYouHear”

He came to the hottest nightclub in Miami to dap LeBron James again and then he went straight home. okay.

I’m sure by “left” he meant that Green didn’t stay in Miami’s area and pop bottles with them. Fans are so self righteous. Green’s vacation started when that final buzzer sounded, I have no problem with him enjoying himself while he’s in South Beach.

it’s just one picture that i saw Green paying respect to LeBron and all these “sellout” comments becomes viral. well if the people think Green is selling out the Spurs then they should’ve started on Green wearing LeBron’s shoes during the series.

I’m betting some of this comes from those who are angry that the Heat won. Almost like the Spurs were the good guys and they’re upset that Danny congratulated the bad guys especially the leader of them.

  • OfftheWall87

    Ginobili wore LeBron’s shoes also.

  • Sizzle

Who cares about Danny Green…I wanna know where Birdman was partying at!!

  • pposse

what are you talking about? Are you a coach? Be foreal, none of your players ever argued with the team shoes or told you that they like the comfort and the way they perform in other shoes? Or do you coach 5 yr olds?

  • badabing

Some 13 year olds had a slumber party. He apparently dropped by.

i think his vacation started after game 5, he wasn’t seen after that. and sure, he can do whatever he wants after the season is over. personally i couldn’t even think about showing up to the other teams party after loosing in the finals, even if my best friend played on that team.

    seems legit

this is insane, every lebron fg from game 7 at once

  • Dfrance

    I love the internet!

Lol, good point about him disappearing. Idk, I respect that stance, I’m the type to move on quickly from disappointment. Being upset won’t change what’s already happened.

Man, that’s a whole lot more entertaining that looking at those court diagrams with the little colored circles.

  • RayJr

He can congrulate him right after the game. I don’t think a player should ever go to the other teams victory party especially only a few hours after you lose to them. That wasn’t a boys n girls club pick up game where you might play against your friends for a couple of games and then you can hangout after. This is the NBA Finals and you should have the mindset that you just went to war with the other team.

    Awesome. Just like The Matrix.

    Sweeet.

  • Sizzle

Not funny even if those allegations would have proven to be true….

I think he meant that no-one complained then; they shouldn’t now. I don’t see the big deal, you can lose to your friends and still be friends. I don’t think it’ll make you play any less hard the next time you meet. This is such a stupid story.

  • Happy.

I agree. It’s not funny, especially if it was true. However, your link is a statement by his lawyer. A link to the article stating the case was dropped would have been better.

Only meatheads think child molestation or r@pe jokes are funny. That’s more important point here.

  • OfftheWall87

A club full of women in Miami after the Finals are over…I don’t blame the man for showing up one bit.

  • Sizzle

I agree a link showing it was “resolved” would be better, but I can’t seem to find one. The last thing I found was an update from Jan 11, 2013. It’s funny how the media works. Over report the story before hand, and then never really follow up. I am sure by now it has been resolved, or at least proven that he had nothing to do with the allegations.

  • fruizm

    Sick!

  • fruizm

The best part is that Norris Cole does jumping jacks after all those shots haha!

  • pposse

    okay got it.

  • pposse

sorry didn’t mean to jump on you coach!

  • jmm

Dude is back pedalling after every single shot?

  • Groomism

Why is he shooting left-handed on the corner? wrong camera angle? hehe

  • Clos1881

Lol. If that’s the case Manu was on vacation the entire playoffs when you get that kind of production from a role player all you need is your stars to do what they do and you would be fine but Ginobli and the “best pg in the nba” disappeared.

  • Dfrance

That was a shot from the other basket in the first half. Had to invert it to fit all the shots on the same side of the court. There are 2 or 3 shots like that.

  • faqrul fauzi

    I strongly agree ^^
