Damn it. One of my favorite players on the Lakers. Loved watching him at Louisville as well. Got a chance to meet him actually. Hope he continues to improve.

if it’s one this d’antoni is good at, it’s giving mediocre players a huge payday

he was really good at Louisville, that team was awesome. i thought he would be a way better pro though. and i though terrence williams would be even better. and he just got cut from the celtics who are re-building and he had a cheap contract smh

They were but they underachieved. I think Clark would’ve stayed another year but he had just had his second child so he needed to get money so he bolted. I really don’t get waiving TWill. Head scratcher to me.

I guess Gasol has to start now.

just as he seems to have been a head scratcher for every coach he has played for in nba. his talent is amazing. whenever i have seen him play in the nba though, he will make a good play or two followed by some terrible plays, he seems to have turnover problems.

    Good pick up.

not looking good for the Lakers…

  • Evan Boland

His play dropped off so much last season. He went from nobody to budding star to nobody in the span of months. I wonder what he will become.

@d89d81f673dac06b16cade5b4bf19954:disqus he had some off court problems domestic abuse etc, otherwise they would’ve kept him.

Clark should have stayed with the Lakers and took less money. Clark should have talked to Tervor Ariza about his life after leaving the Lakers. Ariza had a shot to go down as a great Laker second/third tier player like Bryon Scott. Instead he took the money and left and now has been traded around and he has never been the same since. Clark career is over.

  • Mike Gilbert

To be fair, Trevor Ariza had his best season in Houston, the season after he left the Lakers

  • The Seed

Where did Houston go. Its easy to score more on a bad team, but to win on a great team is better for a players appeal to the masses. Example, right now Monta Ellis. Warriors got better without him.

upon further review…..he shot 39% in Houston….yikes. At least he is a good defender
