Clippers Sign Darren Collison to Two-Year Deal

With Eric Bledsoe gone, Chris Paul was very much in need of a back-up—and now he has one. The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly signed point guard Darren Collison to a two-year deal, per Yahoo!: “Free-agent point guard Darren Collison has agreed to sign a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers to become Chris Paul’s backup, a source told Yahoo! Sports on Saturday. Collison’s money will come from part of the mid-level exception and the contract has a player’s option in the second season. The former UCLA star averaged 12 points and 5.1 assists for the Dallas Mavericks last season.”
