Alex Len Cleared To Practice

The Suns selected Alex Len fifth overall in June’s Draft, but he hasn’t been able to get on the floor since. He was held out of the Summer League following surgery on both ankles, but, according to the man himself, Len is ready to go:

he’s the centerpiece to an NBA team…..

As much as I like him, there is no way Len will live up to expectations of a top pick. Solid rotation player maybe, but franchise cornerstone? No way.

That comment was me being selfish. I understand you got to capitalize on the money while there is a market for you. But the market is always high for a seven footer.

    I don’t see it

    what don’t you see?

At best I think Len is Brook Lopez…At worst…Luc Longley

Are you saying he will be the teams best player or he is the centerpiece because he got drafted so high? if he is the teams best player I don’t see it, he is injury prone.

they don’t want a “best player” this season. They want everyone to fail a lot and learn from their mistakes. But the team will be built around Len and Bledsoe going forward. Nobody really knows what responsibilities or strengths they will be able to use immediately. So that much i can’t even try to predict. Other than that they will be awful. And it will be on purpose.

I meant more for his career. This is better without even considering the money. Sh*t, it’s better for him for the medical treatment alone as an athlete with injury issues.

The guy has the potential to be a GREAT NBA player, but will he reach it?
