Chris Bosh Believes A Threepeat Could Keep Heat Together

Each of the Heat’s big three—LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh—can opt out of his current contract and hit unrestricted free agency next summer. There’s been lots of talk about the team potentially blowing the core up, or at least reshuffling a little. Talking to the Miami Herald, Bosh implied that winning a third straight title this season would likely keep the band together: ”With everybody being under contract and having no tomorrow, it’s kind of exciting because we know what we have to do for one and then, two, it’s like it helps you focus on what you need to do in that moment instead of next year or whenever. If we take care of business, we know everything is going to be all good. So, we just have to take that mentality and that kind of erases all the doubt.”

just try not to lay an egg in game 7 again and it might happen

Thats what dinosaurs do… They eat, sh*t, and lay eggs. Let him do his job

  • Shooting Guard

Not many believed in a repeat

  • Karl

Man I hate fools clownin’ on Bosh. He’s the reason they even had a game 7 with those huge offensive rebounds at the end. Top quality player that I wish was on my team.

Heck, I’d be happy with having Joel Anthony on my team..

  • JibbsIsBallin

Heck- I’d be happy with owning a decimal percentage of an NBA team.

  • shockexchange

In the Shock Exchange’s opinion, a serviceable center could prolly do the trick as well.

Heck I’d be happy with being able to afford a ticket…

  • Conor

For good reason until Pop benched Duncan in Game VI.

  • spit hot fiyah

if he would have scored even one point they wouldn’t have needed to shooting desperation 3s at the end

  • spit hot fiyah

my bad, i confused game 6 with game 7. my point was, they won by the smallest of margins and can’t afford bosh to disappear in big games going forward

And I see Chris Bosh gave me a down vote… All good CB! ALL GOOOOD!

Might help if Bosh works on an inside game as opposed to becoming a 3-pt specialist like he seemed to do for stretches during the playoffs.

  • Junior Taylor

Tell that to the 90s Bulls.

  • LP @ThisisEther

    yep…late 90s bulls

Why do people always look at 1 to a couple of clutch play and use this to validate a player’s worth all the time?

If bosh had produced in the playoffs and wade was healthy and produced like he normally does (he did for a couple of games) it would not have went to that 1 play…heck it prolly wouldn’t go 6 games and the heat would have had sooooo much more rest throughout the playoffs. Bosh made one good play because he was in good position, BUT don’t get it twisted or let the moment blind you in saying, he is mad nice when this season he was one of the reasons ppl were saying miami was like cleveland 2.0… I respect Bosh as a person; I am critiquing his game and not talking bad about him in anyway. I’m objectively looking at just his game/contribution to Lebron’s team aka th heat

    and game clenching blocks

  • Diehard

Chris Bosh doesnt believe that Bosh-spice isnt a cool nickname.

    i’m just sayin’

  • shockexchange

  • danpowers

  • shockexchange

Indiana is going to **** you in the ****

  • Busta213

Interesting he said this…I was starting to get the feeling that he might walk away with his rings and take the Lakers money

the lakers will welcome him with open arms. him & pau would be the most skilled bigs in the league. the softest as well

besides game 4 of the finals when he dropped 20 13 & 3 blocks on duncan(20 & 5 boards) bosh was no where to be seen. he better step up next season

  • spit hot fiyah

exactly, they can’t afford that again

  • pposse

Bosh did contribute…throughout the regular season which gave them the number one overall seed, which in turn gave the heat two game 7′s at home. So what he fell off in the playoffs, the Heat still won, and last time i checked his name is Chris Bosh. You still can’t leave him wide open, which no one ever did, his effect wasn’t on the stat sheet so much but he still effected every single playoff game, just like Wade did without actually producing.

  • grgeblck

in the where? i can’t figure out any words with four letters that you can **** with.
