Al Jefferson Sprained His Right Ankle

Hopefully this isn’t too serious, as Al Jefferson is expected to carry a pretty heavy load in Charlotte this season. Per the Charlotte Observer: “One day after losing reserve center Brendan Haywood for 12 weeks to a stress fracture, the Charlotte Bobcats have suffered an injury to another center. Free agent center Al Jefferson suffered a sprained right ankle in the third quarter of Friday night’s 86-75 loss to the Miami Heat and had to be helped off the court. A team spokesman said Jefferson will be reevaluated Saturday in Milwaukee, where the Bobcats will play another preseason game against the Bucks.”

Recover in 2 weeks. Bobcats lottery bound. A core of Dante exam, Kidd ghilchrist Bismack and Al Jefferson isnt going to help championship aspirations. Mkg is best suited as a bench player because he can’t score and isn’t as grizzy as tony allen

Are you saying this when preseason games are not even done yet? And MKG is going to be bench bound? Who else do they have to replace him, Jeff Taylor?

  • spit hot fiyah

at least he has a big enough bed to recover in

  • Caboose

MKG just turned 20. He’s younger than most rookies this year. Are you saying he won’t improve at all? If you are, I would LOVE to hear that reasoning.

Why would the Cats draft Exum? They have Kemba. Sigh. Do your homework first, dude. For once.

  • AddingVelocityDontTellMe

exum better than kemba right now. Emmanuel mudiay better than kemba right now. And mkg will improve but what’s it doesnt look like he’ll be an allstar level player.

Will you learn? BACK UP WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. Otherwise it sounds like a third grader. Give REASONS for what you’re saying man. Please, for f*ck’s sake.

i cant give quantitative info because neither exum or emanuel mudiay have played in the league. But both players are large point guards with comparison to penny hardaway and john wall respectively. Their floor is still greater than kemba.

    neither they should trade them.
