LeBron has won four of the last five MVP awards. Will he win it again this season?

Will LeBron James win another MVP this season?

For the people who voted no, who then?

  • boob-lover

Ya mama. She will be Most Valuable Prostitute because she is a top earner.

  • Caboose

Chris Paul. LeBron will deserve it, but voter fatigue will set in.

If the Clippers win the West, the narrative will be all about Paul, and how it just took a supporting cast for him to win. He won’t be the best player, but he will be the media’s most valuable

Rose, if he manage to stay healthy. Fingers crossed.

I honestly think CP is more important/valuble to the Clips than LBJ to the Heat.

No CP on the Clipps and they don’t make the playoffs.

No Bron on the Heat and they are still in the playoffs.

If CP3 plays like last night then him. See that game? wow

Lol so the playoffs are more important than a championship?

Lebron will most likely win, but I feel like voters will pick someone else this season just because they want something new. MVP has always been a weird award, I think. Maybe Kevin Durant or Chris Paul.

  • melvo

But MVP is decided before the championship game.

  • melvo

James Harden could potentially win it, depending on how the Rockets do.

I love the guy, but this will most likely be his worst season since his rookie year.

“I honestly think CP is more important/valuble to the Clips than LBJ to the Heat.”

he is not talking about the MVP award. He is talking about value.

  • LakeShow

MVP has nothing to do with playoffs or championships.

  • LakeShow

“he is not talking about the MVP award. He is talking about value.”

You realize the irony of what was just said there right?

    essentially:
“He’s not talking about the Most Valuable Player award. He’s talking about how valuable someone is….”

most valuable is a regular season award.
    .
a player’s true value is more than that….seeing as how a championship is the overall team goal, not a great regular season.
    .
a title is more important … in the grand scheme of things, then a playoff birth.
    .
The MVP award, being about the regular season, and said playoff birth, doesn’t really weigh which player is “most valuable” — assuming you think a title is more important than the playoffs.
    .
    it makes perfect sense.

the MVP award and how valuable a player is to a team are a little bit different. again, unless you value the regular season more than a championship.
