Post Up: Welcome Back

D-Rose returns.

by Leo Sepkowitz | @LeoSepkowitz

Derrick Rose is back. Xavier Henry is back. The National Basketball Association is back. All is right in the world.

Heat 107, Bulls 95
You can ignore the box score and even the final score for this one. Derrick Rose is here.

The former MVP handled 34 minutes against Miami last night—just a tick under his career average—and looked more or less like D-Rose. He finished with ugly numbers (5/15, 5 turnovers, 4 assists), but just seeing him fly around against LeBron & Co. was a beautiful sight for any hoops fan.

Miami blew Chicago out in the second quarter, and the game wasn’t really close until the Bulls made a late surge that fell well short. The Heat had seven guys in double figures, including LeBron (17, 8 dimes, 6 boards), Chris Bosh (16 & 6) and Dwyane Wade (13). The team knocked down 11/20 threes, with Shane Battier connecting on all four of his tries from downtown.

Chicago got a monster effort from Carlos Boozer—31 points on 13/18 shooting. Jimmy Butler went for 20 with 5 steals, sparking many of Chicago’s 17 fast break points. Enjoy the moment, Chicago haters—I suspect this will be the last time we see Thibs’ squad under .500 for a long, long time.

Pacers 97, Magic 87
Orlando took a lead into halftime of the season’s first game, but Indiana owned the second half. Roy Hibbert was a force with 16 boards and 7 rejections, and Paul George kicked in 24 with three treys. Lance Stephenson looked great filling in for Danny Granger, finishing with 19 points, 7 boards and 5 dimes. They’ll need him to step up like that all year if they want to make a push for the East’s top seed.

The big story for Orlando entering the game was Victor Oladipo’s debut. The second overall pick came off the bench and played 23 minutes, but he shot just 4-of-11. In all, he tallied 12 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists—far bigger things are yet to come. Andrew Nicholson was solid with 18 points, and Nikola Vucevic picked up right where left off last season, snagging 10 boards to go with his 8 points. Orlando might not win many games, but they’ll be a pretty tough out most nights this season.

Lakers 116, Clippers 103
What???? The Clippers and Lakers battled evenly for three quarters last night, but it seemed like last year’s division champions would pull away eventually. Then the Lakers’ Henry-Jordan Famar-Jordan Hill-Wesley Johnson-Jodie Meeks rotation destroyed the team that I picked to win the title, and boom: a 13-point Lakers win that made no sense.

The numbers were all there for the Clippers—CP3 had 15 and 11, Blake Griffin went for 19 and 7, Jamal Crawford and JJ Redick combined for 28 and DeAndre Jordan even came through with 17 and 11. But something just clicked for the Lakers’ reserve unit, and the game was iced with about four minutes still on the clock.

When all was said and done, Henry led the team with 22 points and Farmar scored 16 with 6 assists. Jordan Farmar! Each of Meeks, Hill, Chris Kaman and Nick Young scored between 10 and 13, too. Meanwhile, Pau Gasol was on-point with 15 and 13, leading a completely functional offense during the first three quarters. It didn’t even matter that Steve Nash played a brutal 21 minutes and finished with 3 points and 5 assists.

It’s tough to say what this means for the rest of the year. Frankly, it’s probably an outlier before a big season for the Clippers and a bad one for the Lakers. But, at least for a night or two, the Lakers are still the best team in LA.

    Let’s get this season going!
The Nicholson show in the 2nd quarter was fun to see.
It felt good to finally see DRose back in action in a real NBA game!
Also looked like the Lakers were having fun playing again for a long time.

  • Max

And is Roy Hibbert the king of the missed bunnies?

  • playa

As someone posted earlier in some lakers forum:

    L.James – 17 pts

X.Henry – 22 pts Nuff said!!! So this is how i feel being lakers fan today

    http://i.imgur.com/kNtaX0E.gif

  • i_ball

Apparently Blake Griffin forgot to work on his free throws in the summer..

Doc has a lot of work to do

  • Stepfan Raiford

Mike D’Antoni offense…everybody has the green light until Kobe comes back.

  • Stepfan Raiford

Was really surprised how bad the Clippers were on closing out on three point shooters, but it is the first game of the season. Blake Griffin in the post couldn’t back down Wesley Johnson!!!!!! WESLEY JOHNSON THOUGH!!!!! Has he worked on his game? Big time win LakeShow lol

  • Fat Lever

How about Beasley only getting garbage mins. Looks like he’s going to have to prove to Spo he’s worthy of being a key rotation guy. Time to grow up, young man.

  • MVP23100

Same story with CHI a piece or two short from being a contender nonetheless good to see Rose back Miami looks bulletproof I can see them being challenged but not beat and the toughest playoff matchup might come out the east and I love to see all the Laker fans out early and cocky I wonder what bulls**t excuse they’ll have for not making the playoffs

Oh how great it feels to be a Laker fan today! I know it’s only one game but glad we started the season off with a W. The Clippers looked great in the first half but it seems like when the game gets tough they always revert back to pick&roll offense and if that doesn’t work then it’s iso ball. Blake Griffin’s free throw shooting at this point is pathetic and unacceptable. Also, is it just me or did the Lakers look like they actually liked playing with each other. Now to the Heat/Bulls game. I expected to see some rust from the champs but boy was I wrong. They smothered the Bulls all game long and it was never even close. If they continue to play defense like that and spread the wealth I think we’ll see the Larry O’Brien stay in South Beach.

  • shockexchange

Go ahead and puff your chest out playa. The Lakers were passing the ball to the open man on offense … looking for the best available shot, and hustling on defense. They looked like they were having fun out there. The Shock Exchange thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • http://signup.divinerenergy.com/ Anthony Dixon

    Drose shooting too many threes

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    let the overreacting begin!

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

Don’t try to kill me and Lakeshow’s happiness!

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

oh i think everyone just got a taste of the fact that LA is not going to be that terrible. D’Antoni is best at making the most out of mediocre talent.
    .
i am more talking about those who are going to come in and call the Clippers overrated.

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

Fair enough. The Clippers aren’t overrated but I never thought they would just run through everyone right away.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

either way, Doc Rivers needs to take those stupid posters down, and let the banners show. That sh*t is more motivation than having giant posters of the players in the arena like they’ve earned them.

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

Agreed. It’s pretty stupid imo. Too bad they don’t just move to Seattle because this will always be the Lakers’ city.

  • Caboose

    1. DRose looks very healthy and comfortable, but come on. You guys can see now he’s not in the Durant/LeBron level, right?
    2. Damn the Lakers were fun to watch last night. With their emphasis on 3′s, they’re gonna both win and lose a lot of games they shouldn’t.
    3. The Clippers’ shooting was abysmal. But Caboose, their percentage was good! I know. But they missed a LOT of wide open shots that the offense created. The only guy actually making the most of those looks was JJ.
    4. Paul George, everybody.
    5. Dear Orlando, WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO WIN GAMES. I want Wiggins.

  • http://slamonline.com/ Ben Osborne

    woohoo!

  • Stepfan Raiford

#5 hilarious. Harris, Harkless, Vucevic, Oladipo, and Nicholson all play hard. Even with them trying to win games they don’t have the experience to win games. #WigginsBound

  • Lexluther312

@Caboose You judge that he’s not on LeBron/KD level after playing one game in 18 months? His resume says otherwise. Lets not be THAT guy who makes judgments from a small sample experiment.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

they are going to win more games than like 5 other teams…..you realize that right?

  • Enigmatic

Heh. Carlos Boozer is leading the league in scoring. Jimmy Butler looked great. The Heat looked amazing last night. Hats off to them.

  • Dagger

Say what you want about D’Antoni. But no coach in the league would get more wins out of a group of no-defense chuckers. The Lakers are really, really interesting this year.

  • Cortez Mack

That is the best idea I have heard in a long long time.

  • Dagger

To be fair, Rose looked like the third-best player in the game during the preseason. His jumper was beautiful. It’s hard to judge him after one game against the Heat, who play him better than any other team. Let’s see where we stand after the season.

  • Cortez Mack

I like Rose a lot but almost every move he makes seems like it takes a lot of energy. Even his jumpshots seems like he exerting a lot of energy.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

someone want to explain to me how it is ok for Blake Griffin to come back even worse from the FT Line then he was last season? that sh*t is so damn unnacceptable to me

  • pposse

    5. the bulls had like the 9th or 11th worst record in 08 when we got the number one pick. ‘If you build it they will come’ young caboose keep the faith tanking is wack!

  • bike

Couldn’t tell if the clips were over confident or over rated or maybe both. Dwightless Lakers = Happy Place.

  • Max

How come Tobias Harris didn’t play?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    Boston/San Antonio/Oklahoma City/Miami all tanked….and they are looking down on the Bulls……

  • berkamore

That is a terrific gif.Sums up how Lakers fans must feel today “What, what, what you didn’t see the game last night?” LOL.

  • Caboose

Rose has NEVER been at the level Bron and KD are at right now, lets get that straight

  • http://twitter.com/niQknacks niQ

Very impressed with Jimmy Butler! Glad I took a flyer on him in Fantasy ball!

  • Caboose

Sorry, that was to Lexluther 312 lol

  • pposse

you conveniently just listed all of the most hated teams in the league!…but i see your pt.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

LOL. not uh! i didn’t name the Lakers.

  • Phil

Remember the ridicule you geniuses expressed whenever any Laker fan said that Farmar would be significant? #Intellect

  • Stepfan Raiford

And I picked him up on my fantasy squad. Not sure why I drafted him. To nobody’s surprise I lost that category badly.

  • Conor

Fantastic of the officials to give Butler and Deng a combined five fouls in the first quarter. Really nice.

  • Caboose

They hacked the sh!t out of LeBron, yeah.

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

I mean I can’t be the only guy to think about that. Seattle really wants a team and deserves to have one because they are a loyal fan base. You don’t have to share a gym and put selfies up to cover up the other team’s evidence of dominance.

  • shockexchange

    Don Nelson 2.0?

  • Caboose

    Minor ankle injury

  • Stepfan Raiford

    ankle

  • Caboose

You are aware that Rose has NEVER been anywhere near the level that KD and Bron are at right now, right? I mean, not even close.

  • Caboose

Phoenix, Philly….after those 2 it’s kind of a free-for-all for 3rd worst record. Unfortunately, (for me), the Magic guys aren’t lazy and won’t sacrifice games like other teams might.

  • Caboose

    Dwightless and Kobeless….

  • Stepfan Raiford

nbk I cant think of any other teams besides the Suns and the Sixers who are leading in the tanking for wiggins race. Who else?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Jazz – Bobcats (not tanking, but worse than Orlando) – Boston all will probably be worse than Orlando. Boston will be close, but Danny Ainge is on full sabotage alert

  • Caboose

Bobcats could surprise people….then again, they’re the Bobcats. Milwaukee could REALLY end up sucking too.

  • Sérgio

The Bench Mob is back in LA!!! Man, this may sound bizarre, but I think Farmar was really missed with the reserves in LA. I really like his game off the bench.

Also, Henry has been playing out of his mind since the beggining of the preseason. Let’s hope he can keep the pace.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Milwuakee will win no more than 41 and no less than 33 games. That team is built exactly how a team should never be built.
    .
i have no faith in a team where Kemba Walker is its best player (ok “Al Jefferson”) being more than a bottom feeder.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

LOL, it’s still got that broken hitch. like, really Blake? you couldn’t ask JJ Redick for some help?

  • LakeShow

I wanna say give it time… but I don’t think time helps if you don’t want to fix it.

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

Haha let’s hope man. I really felt since winning the title in 2010 our bench has gotten worse every year since. Farmar was definitely missed as a reliable backup PG. I really like Henry’s attack mentality. Also, Nick Young almost gave me a stroke with all his chucking last night smh

  • LakeShow

    NBA is back!

  • LakeShow

“That team is built exactly how a team should never be built.”

    Yes!

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

i can tell from watching him shoot last night he has made no progress. making/missing free throws is one thing, having the same glaring fundamental issues is another. And he has the “another” issue.

  • LakeShow

The whole idea is Sterling can spend little money and make allot sharing the Staples Center.

Chris Hansen would want to buy it if it went to Seattle and I don’t think Sterling’s looking to sell.

  • jessedogg

Never seen LeBron look so uncomfortable and Bulls so out of Sync.. that game was wack.

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

True. I guess I just hate sharing the arena with the Clippers so hell by any means necessary get them out of here lol maybe if they move to Seattle you’ll root for them haha

  • LakeShow

Hey, they are all gunna be out of the League in a year or two!

    LOL

No one played more than 27 mins last night… D’Antoni showing everyone how he likes to run a system.

They’ll lose allot over the next 15 games or so, but it’s a nice start.

  • LakeShow

I’d root for the Lakers. Till I move back to Seattle… It’s be weird haha.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

the Clippers have always been one of the 5 most profitable teams in the league. Of course he wouldn’t sell.

  • Caboose

Your hate for Big Al always amuses me. It’s not entirely unjustified, granted.

  • LakeShow

Johnson has always been a good defender. He has put on some muscle, so now he can guard 3 or 4 positions. Offensively… He is very inconsistent. He has a nice form, good looking skill-set, but gets a little geeked up in games still. (he was 1-11 for 3 points lol)

  • LakeShow

    Derrh.

  • LakeShow

    I have equal disdain.

    He scored 17 points on 15 buckets last year. He’s a center!…

  • Kadavour

someone want to explain why Blake Griffin gets iso looks in the post? Didn’t Memphis expose this?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

just watch him a lot. after his ACL tear, he just became a totally one dimensional player.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

there is no real reason Wes Johnson should be able to hold his own with Griffin in the post….come on now, you know that.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

he was supposed to have worked on it in the off-season. and he did have Gasol guarding him in the playoffs, that’s quite a bit different than Wes Johnson/Jordan Hill/Pau Gasol.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

seems like it huh? he’s garnering that reputation.

  • shockexchange

Nelson brandished his rep by playing small ball or coaching up lesser talent. When he finally had the talent in Golden State with Webber, Sprewell and a few quality vets, Nelson found a way to sabotage it by beefing with Webber. He later resurfaced in Dallas – “coaching up lesser talent.” Nelson never wanted the expectations of winning.

  • http://soundcloud.com/tray-8 T-Ray

Yea I would imagine it would be haha

  • Chuko

Do you think if the Jazz hold on to, and develop, these young’ns that they’ll have any success? Can they hold on to all this young talent long enough to develop a solid team? Also, now that Sloan is a part of the organization again, do you think that there’s a chance that he’ll coach them again in the next few years when it becomes clear that Corbin isn’t taking them anywhere?

Lots of questions. Feel free to answer none or some of them, just interested in what you think.

  • LakeShow

    I always like Donnie.

    He got W’s.

He may not have wanted expectations, but he could coach with the best of them.

Most wins in NBA history isn’t a casual accomplishment…

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

i don’t think it was about expectations. it was about doing it his way. if he had a team with those expectations, it was usually because they were traditionally built to have them. he wasn’t actually going to use them that way though.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

the Jazz have the chance to grab a franchise player in the draft. They have a great core, with multi-dimensional talent. As long as they don’t spend their money on big men, or try and jump the gun too quickly, they have a good chance to make a quick ascension back into the playoff fray.
    .
with that being said, i’m fearful the rocky season ahead will put undue pressure on management to make unneeded changes.
    .
and no, i don’t think Sloan is coming back. Not unless they become a veteran team over night.

  • Chuko

By spend their money on big men do you mean that they shouldn’t resign Kanter when the time comes?

  • The Philosopher

    Made some money last night…

  • LakeShow

I know that, but he did lol.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

no i mean, they need to stand pat with the ones they have. Not try and fix any issues that will surely pop up over the course of this season. wait until the “core” group of players is set in stone.

  • Stepfan Raiford

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hitch, or did I go to far?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

LOL, too far. but that’s a vivid example, makes it easier to understand either way.

  • Drig

Gotta say……..I was pretty much a carbon copy of that, minus the fancy suit lol

  • Drig

    That Laker game………

Damn did that feel good. I must say I was expecting us to run outta gas like it has been for the last half-decade or so.

Looks like the Lakers’ bench used up the past years worth of good karma it had stored up for this day lol.

IF Mike D’Antoni can make this bench be a productive one over the course of the entire season, I’m never ever gonna criticize him. Ever.

BTW, was it just me or did anyone want a Jamal Crawford vs Nick Young iso possession for both teams to determine the outcome of the game at the start of Q4???

  • kc

Thing is once the mamba returns the passing and the fun is over!

  • Harvey

    - Was very impressed with LeBron’s passing yesterday. His bounce passes are on point.
    - I thought Rose struggled to be honest yesterday, but it was still great to see him back.
    - Congrats Lakers! I was surprised they got the W, but their ball movement and their bench were spectacular.
    - Paul George was effective yesterday, (forgot he had range).
    - Boozer has that baseline jumper perfected.
    - Barkley is hilarious; I love how he uses the term “idiot” so freely lol!!

  • Cortez Mack

Webber. He should have kicked him in the nuts.

    Overrated bum.

    wait…is he rated?

  • Cortez Mack

    Sure there is.

Griffin’s post game ain’t about nothing.

I figured out (albeit too late) that during the midst of a game you had to go with what was happening, not what you thought should be happening.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

the point is about what should be happening…..i thought that was obvious when i said should.

  • LakeShow

Indy had a block party on your boys last night.

7 from Hibbs lol. 5 from West had to be a career high right?

How many of those were on Oladipo?? How you like the rook so far?

  • Draak Grafula

Really? The Spurs and OKC are among the most hated teams in the league? How can anyone hate on the Spurs?

  • i_ball

And still MKG is at least an average FT shooter

  • Caboose

REALLY excited about Oladipo. Dude worked on his offense over the summer. He could be a really great 2-way guy in a couple years if he keeps at it.

Honestly, if Orlando nabs someone like Dante Exum, they’ll be back in the Playoffs fast.

Exum, Oladipo, Harkless, Harris, Vucevic with Nicholson, Nelson, Afflalo, and O’Quinn off the bench? That could be scary by say 2015.

  • TADOne

    Where is todays Post Up?!?!

  • pposse

what did it for me was when Amare got suspended game 5 against the spurs for jumping off the bench and then going right back to the bench without doing anything of any significance in between. That and how hard David Stern tried to justify the suspension on a radio show with Dan Patrick.

  • pposse

Rose put up a combined total of 225 more pts in 2010-2011 than KD did last yr but okay (adding pts and assists – assists all counting as 2 pts)…i guess that consitutes not being anywhere near the level of play of KD now sure. You clearly have no emphasis for sheer volume/ output in your anal-ysis.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

LOL, you took the Derrick Rose / Chris Paul (point guard) argument, and projected it on Kevin Durant…a small forward.
    .
nobody thinks Rose is in Durant/James’ league except people in Chicago. i hope you realize that.

  • Caboose

I forgot all you care about is points. Carry on.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

he’s giving Derrick Rose the credit for his teammate’s assists. I used this # to show him how much offense Chris Paul was involved in, despite not scoring as many points as Rose.
    .
and then he didn’t really understand (argued against it then), and now attributes points + assists as one combined stat, without worrying about any of the context or anything…just because it helps his argument of Derrick Rose
    .
Again, the time i showed him that number, he argued against it. Regardless of the fact that I was using it in context.
    .
And now, he’s using it to support his opinion, without using any context.
    .
It’s the definition of a stupid argument.

  • Caboose

It’s scary what happens when idiots get a hold of a little knowledge.

  • pposse

well, the stats prove otherwise. Its not so much people think or say KD is better, thats fine by me, but to say ‘anywhere near the level’ is far from the truth.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

no. they don’t. you don’t even understand the context of the stats you are using. you are just firing into the wind, hoping it works out for the better.
    .
and the first time you saw that stat (which was to just show Chris Paul’s importance to LAC’s offense) you argued against it. And now, now that it benefits Derrick Rose, and doesn’t have any context, you use it?
    .
sorry, but this is just hypocritical nonsense being used ignorantly.

  • pposse

wrong again. The first time i saw that stat was when you pinned d rose best season next to KD, and that was when i told you d rose outproduced KD. don’t be that dude who claims to know what other people are thinking from what they write on a comment section. If you need help disecting what i said and when i said, re read the post then and see exactly what time i replied back to everything you just said.

  • pposse

clearly you dont know what total output, volume or any synonyms to those word are and what they mean. Maybe you’ll learn those terms your next year in college, afterall your a genius right?

oh and last time i checked, one team needs to score more points than the next team to win games. And tough guy, outside of centers scoring buckets and putting up points is what gets these players their bread. Dont believe ask Tony Allen. 4 yrs 20 million thats 5 per fr being the best defensive wing in the game. Know your role Caboose.

  • pposse

im giving rose credit for his assists. not his teammates dummy.

And now you must continue to feed the genius boy wonder caboose more false information…whatever makes you feel better when you wake up and go to sleep at night keep doing it.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

i didn’t use that stat in a discussion about Rose and Durant. I know where you first saw it. I was the person who put it infront of your face.

  • pposse

wrong again. You started the debate by putting KD bball ref next to D Rose. I told you that d Rose outproduced kd from the start. Like i said go look it up if you have to. I mean seriously, i dont need to prove myself to anybody.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

why don’t you look it up? since you clearly don’t remember.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

you are giving rose credit for the points scored by his teammates, as if he literally produced them. And showing that number to say he “out produced” Durant.
    .
As we already discussed the first time you tried to transfer that number from the Chris Paul discussion to Durant, it doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t prove anything to say Rose “outproduced” Durant by combining numbers.
    .
Especially when the offense Durant played in was significantly more productive with him on the court, then the Bulls lineup with Rose….
    .
Durant last season, was clearly better than Rose has ever been. Agree with it or not that’s fine. But don’t use a totally broken argument to try and justify your opinion.

  • pposse

lol okay. Some guy told Dundler he would put KD at 3 and Rose at 2. Lakeshow said thats atrocious. I said open your eyes man, lakeshow said your hurting my head and then you put up D rose best season vs Durant which is when i told you that rose outproduced kd, i added in there that rose had the best season ever by a pg in a long long time, and then you brougt the rose vs paul comparison. That’s how it went down buddy.

  • pposse

yeah so what i give him som credit why not? maybe i wouldn’t if assists wasn’t an actual stat that people keep track of, but this is the real world.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    ……..

as i said, i used the Points + Assists number to show Rose’s season wasn’t the “best for a PG” in a very long time. Because points and totals don’t = best.
    .
then i used assists + points to show you, totals, by themselves, tell you very little. and i showed you this, by adding Chris Paul’s points + assists.
    .
again, to show you that totals are worthless.
    .
which you argued. and then transferred my example, which again, was not shown to prove you wrong, but to put things in perspective, onto the comparison of Durant and Rose.
    .
Again, not understanding the context of the stat that I used. Which you are clearly proving to still not understand.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

HE’S NOT MAKING THOSE SHOTS. HE’S NOT ACTUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE POINTS.

    .

If you do want to use the totals argument, then you must think Russell Westbrook actually had the most productive season for a PG ever. Right?

    .

i mean, considering you used the minutes argument against Durant, the same one that applies to Rose when comparing him to Westbrook.

Again, i’m not arguing to prove you wrong. But to show you that your reasoning is empty and stupid.

no..you showed me that to make a case for cp’s season being better than D Rose’s. Its still funny to me that you think you showed me how to compute something simple like pts plus assists when i clearly already did that. If you need to re-read that page be my guest..look at what time everything was said and notice A. i already computed pts plus assists for d rose and kd way before cp3 was ever mentioned.
