Matt Barnes Fined $25,000 for Ejection and Twitter Rant

Oh boy … The NBA hit Matt Barnes with a $25K fine, after he was ejected for shoving Serge Ibaka and profanely venting on Twitter last night. (Barnes issued an apology earlier today.) From the press release: “Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes has been fined $25,000 for failing to leave the court in a timely manner upon his ejection and using inappropriate language on his Twitter account during the game following his ejection, in violation of NBA rules, it was announced Thursday by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.”

He should be on the list of dark alley guys, use to think he was all talk but man, he has some angst.
Stren can i please have his $25,000 dollars.
Jeez, that is some peoples entire years earnings! They should put the fines into charity organizations or something, like what ever team they are from it goes to the homeless in that city or something. I know fines are fines, and the league can make it how much they want it to, but damn, so much money…..just for pushing someone and saying &^%$a on twitter.
