Vince Carter Calls Dwight Howard the ‘Biggest Crybaby’

The Dallas Mavericks had a great time at Dwight Howard’s expense last night — their fans taunted and rattled the big fella, owner Mark Cuban took the obligatory shots after the comeback win, and Vince Carter called Howard out for being a “crybaby”. Per ESPN: “Carter interrupted Howard’s one-sided discussion with an official to loudly and repeatedly tell the Rockets center that he was ‘the biggest crybaby I know.’ Carter, an Orlando resident who has played countless summer pickup games with Howard and spent a season and change as his teammate with the Magic, said after the game that they’re buddies. But Carter certainly didn’t back off his comment. ‘All the time,’ Carter said of Howard’s whining to officials. ‘He always talks about how I’m a crybaby. I was like, ‘Yo, you’re the biggest crybaby I know.’ And then later, he’s like, ‘Yo, why’d you say that to me?’ But I know Dwight. It’s all good, but he is [a crybaby]. I mean, he takes a lot of punishment, but I’m like, ‘Yo, c’mon Dwight, c’mon. You elbowed, you’re sitting in the paint the entire time. What are you whining about?’ He told me to stop crying. I was like, ‘What? Are you serious?’”

  • Dfrance

Two crybabies crying over who is the biggest crybaby… Sounds about right.

shout out to Marc Cuban and the Dallas organization. Before this game their local network had a commercial endorsing this matchup, they made sure to put in there “Tune in Wed night for the James Harden led Rockets face Dallas” – that had to piss off DH

  • shockexchange

In the Shock Exchange’s opinion, this is so ironic. In Toronto Charles Oakley literally begged VC to be more aggressive and put the Raptors on his back like A.I. did in Philly. Now VC wants to call out Rent-A-Center, who eats what he kills.

Just a couple of girls bickering on the school yard.

Girl 1: “You are a cry baby!”
    Girl 2: “Nun-uh! You are”
Girl 1: “Oh Yeah? Well, you are a bigger one!”
    Girl 2: “Nun-uh! You are”

…and so on and so forth.

  • Cortez Mack

“…the James Harden led Rockets face Dallas”

Now, that is funny…because it is true.

“…that had to piss off DH”

The truth hurts. He simply went from sidekick in L.A. to second banana in Houston.

This smacks of bullying. Dwight’s feelings are probably hurt – he might take the ball and go home.

Vince carter and Dwight Howard speak to each other like they’re high school punk kids.

    Yep

“and then I was like…and he was like…” he might be a crybaby but you are a valley girl apparently.

Why did Chandler Parsons only shoot twice in the second half after making 6/8 for 18 & 8 assists in the first half? Questionable alienation during the second half.

Wince Carter. I am from T.O. and for Carter to say this about another player is like Allen Iverson telling someone to got to practice.
