Miami Heat Reportedly Interested in Jordan Crawford

With rumors surfacing around the Heat looking to acquire backcourt depth, “a few GMs” now believe that the Heat will target the Celtics’ Jordan Crawford, according to the New York Daily News‘ Mitch Lawrence:

Miami is looking to deal for a young wing player who can score and take some of the load off Dwyane Wade. A few GMs have identified Boston’s Jordan Crawford as a player the Heat will go after in the coming days/weeks.

It’s starting to look as if Wade is not gonna last long in the league…

  • RKJ92

They won’t get him unless they trade Oden on the 15..

  • Daniel Noel

guess KD was right abour Harden

  • AddingVelocityDontTellMe

Jordan crawford. I think the Heat should trade wade for monta ellis.

  • Al

Wade will rather retire before that happens…

  • AddingVelocityDontTellMe

When will spolestra bust out this line up Lebron Ray Beasley Bosh Oden

  • RKJ92

    No wade?

  • RKJ92

I would retire from this site if that happened…

  • Youngindy21

I hope the Celtics reject all offers. Crawford is a pretty decent player and that’s the last thing I want the Miami Heat getting.

I never liked Lebron and wade on the floor at the same time. Wade does what Lebron does. They dont complement each other well offensively compared but defensively yes… however wades dipped. Never was a fan of the heat team composition and they aren’t a dynasty. Lebron pretty much bails the team out as well as the random 3 point sprees.

I’d like to see Lebron Beasley bosh oden with a sg like jj reddick or a klay thompson move forward with this team. Chalmers can try to match the wade intensity but lebrons effect on Beasley is tremendous.

I’ll openly state I am not a team fanatic irrational fan. I enjoy individuals who are great basketball players. Lebron’s management should force the heat management to get rid of wade so that lebron can get at minimum 4 more rings

Monta Ellis is good on good team

Velocity, defense is the whole reason the Miami Heat are such a great team.. without that, they would get SMOKED by Indiana

  • RKJ92

He couldn’t guard Michael Sweetney playing the point..

  • egres

would be weird if they traded jordan crawford for ray allen

  • Daniel Noel

    i concur

  • Shifty

Man I remember this video didn’t know it was Craword though! What could we possibly get though that would be worth trading, apart from a good draft pic if we become worse.

  • TriggaMan

    Lol nice

  • brothasdontsurf

Lebron gonna beat him with the soap-sock when he in the showers.
Chris Bosh will make a cameo of course

  • RKJ92

Ya it was pretty much me thinking.. who is the fattest, slowest, most recognizable player, that got cut from the nba in the last 10 years.. lmao!

  • Foxx Dot PH

Yeah! They need Jordan Crawford but how’s Boston Celtics now?

  • JML-G

would be good choice to let Wade chill til playoffs, but who can they give to Celtics? Norris Cole i guess..

i agree which is why I stated it above. However, the Pacers will get granger back on the bench. The pacers loss last year because they didn’t have the offensive firepower not because the Heat’s defense. However, the pacers 2nd unit this year with Granger and Luis scola will take them over the top. Instead of having lance stephenson shoot awful fg% theyll have multiple options off the 2nd unit who are capable of carring a first unit offensive firepower.

Fall back FALLLL BACK like summer is over. He’s decent on ball defender. It’s really about changing his mindset more than anything. If he gets on a team like the heat he won’t have to create too much Offensive and can focus on using his physical attributes to create havoc on the perimeter

Everything you said there is ridicuulous… Google “off-ball cuts + NBA”
Know who comes up? Dwyane Wade first and foremost. Everything you said may as well be backdated 3 years ago, because none of it’s true now. LeBron is a legit shooter now. Wade is incredible off-ball and LeBron’s vision enables him perfectly. That they both excell in transition means that they’re an incredible fast-break team. The shooter’s around them work… Bosh is incredible from mid-range which enables him as a fantastic outlet if the offense ever becomes stagnant. The whole team is constructed so perfectly, except that they’re rather old.
And not a dynasty? 3 Finals, 2 titles, and still going? I can’t say they’re a dynasty just yet, but my god, that’s nitpicking to say they’re not.
Also Wade retires with the Heat. Trading him may be the stupidest thing you said there.

mmm maybe that’s Tractor Traylor? But he’s gotta be off limits. RIP Tractor. Oh wait no, the winner has got to be Sean May. Sweetney seemed to have some semblance of muscles.

  • JL

They don’t even need Granger. The team is just gellin. Scola is a great luxury to have come off the bench. I personally think they have an edge on the Heat (barring LBJ going nuts) due to DWade’s knees.

  • AddingVelocityDontTellMe

Defensive and off ball wades injuries are preventing from excelling like in the past

  • TR

I dont think we know how good the Heat are yet. Beasley didn’t play in the game and Oden has yet to play. He was pretty much brought in to defend Roy Hibbert for streches of time in the playoffs.

  • JL

What’s going on with oden? Played a couple of summer league games and now disappeared.
