David Stern No Fan of Dennis Rodman’s North Korea Exhibition Game

NBA Hall of Famer and all-around crazy person Dennis Rodman is back in North Korea for the umpteenth time, and he’s brought along other old ballers this time. Rodman had a meltdown while promoting the exhibition on CNN. David Stern and a group of retired players say they’re not thrilled with any of this. Per the AP:

Dennis Rodman has named a team of former NBA players to play an exhibition basketball game in Pyongyang, North Korea.

Rodman will lead the team that includes former NBA All-Stars Kenny Anderson, Cliff Robinson, and Vin Baker. Craig Hodges, Doug Christie and Charles D. Smith are on the team, as well. They will play against a top North Korean senior national team on Wednesday, marking Kim Jong Un’s birthday.

Rodman calls the game his version of “basketball diplomacy.”

“My previous travels have allowed me to feel the enthusiasm and warmth of fans,” Rodman said. “The positive memories and smiles on the faces of the children and families are a testament to the great efforts we have put into fulfilling our mission wherever we go voiding any politics. We are all looking forward to arriving in Pyongyang, meeting the citizens, visiting various charities and using the opportunity to develop new relationships that result in our annual return.”

Stupid ! , their not going to develop nukes , they play basketball , why should they go over and start asking political questions ? , does the NBA go into 3rd world countries to play basketball and ask why don’t you feed your people ? or give them education ?,

Problem is they’re not going to be over there playing for the general population. The game is going to be played in front of elite members of the regime, their family and friends, and the most loyal supporters of the regime. Then to top it off the regime is going spin this into some serious propoganda saying that the leader can bring anyone he wants to North Korea to do whatever he wants. This simply isn’t going to end well.

Maybe if Stern wasnt such a RACIST he wouldnt mind hes part of a racist Jewish organization called Glückliche Katze (google it). When he was in Sigma Alpha Mu at Rutgers he met people who started it and he joined too

Why Rodman, Charles Smith, Vin Baker, et. al. should’ve consulted the Shock Exchange prior to visiting North Korea http://clicky.me/6p4Y
